The homemade mozzarella was excellent, but did not have enough flavor to mask the burnt crust. Pizza is the specialty of the house. Might be better the second time? Maybe not? I did try the homemade cheesecake. Yes, you guessed it, another let-down. More cheese than cake, and the crust was lacking, well, crust flavor. Disappointing. For pictures and more... More

A very charming eatery when they originally opened, both service and hospitality changed greatly once they were featured on a food program.

Met some friends for dinner, and was really looking forward to some Italian food. We were disappointed with the bland food, the unfriendly service, and the unwillingness to split a check.

We were in the mood for pizza and came here after reading the reviews. This Italian eatery is in the historic district of Glendale, AZ. The first thing that caught our eye is that they are certified Neapolitan and their dough is homemade and only use imported fresh ingredients. I had a calzone and it was very tasty. My partner... Authentic Italian items. Pizza was very good as was the pasta dishes we had. It had been visited by "Diners, Drives and Dives"

A great little restaurant. Great selection of choices on the menu and a nice wine list. You can't go wrong. The smell from when I walked in the door was fantastic.

The service, as always, was warm, personal and efficient. The appetizer of mussels and calamari fra diablo was outstanding - be sure to soak up every drop of the delicious sauce with the house-made bread. We shared a Margarita pizza - loaded with delicate flavor. Nice crust, too. We have become regulars, and for each visit, it's like coming home...... More

Long wait even though we called in to get our name on the list an hour ahead of time. Calamari app was a bit chewy but good. We tried four different pizzas and felt the Italian Stallion was the best. Dough was a bit salty though on all of them. Service was good. Would return.
