We go to the theater regularly in downtown Gilbert and had eaten at the other restaurant there before discovering Romeo's Euro Cafe. It is now our favorite. Food has always been outstanding. They are busy (many other fans) and service can get a little slow. Don't go if you're in a hurry. Food doesn't come fast either. But we would... More

This is my favorite hidden gem in downtown Gilbert. Forget the trendy crowded postinos and head over to Romeos across the street. Everything is so delish. Obviously there is a real chef in the kitchen not just a cook and the food all tastes soo fresh and full of flavor. Easy to get a table even on a sat. Night... More

What a great restaurant for dinner or a glass of wine and dessert. They have a wide and marvelous menu with almost anything you can imagine. The chef is a master and the extensive wine and imported beer list complements almost any meal. The desserts are all homemade as well and they are "TO DIE FOR".

Loved this place, the menu and the staff at the front of the house. Our waiter, however, seemed irritated by every request. When my husband ordered a glass of wine from the menu's list, the waiter tried to substitute it with a totally different varietal of wine, then tried to convince him they were the same. Twice. The food was... More

It is MUCH better for couples or small groups but I love the food. We had been to it when Romeo was on Southern and Longmore in Mesa and they do such a good job. It is a really nice blend of Italian, Greek, French and Spanish food. If you like wine, they have a huge selection. The pastries and... More

We have been to Romeo's Euro Cafe several times before, but not in the last few years. We decided to take friends visiting from California, but were disappointed in the service and the food. It was a busy Friday night, but the service was less than enthusiastic. Our waiter seemed bored, except when offering choices for wine. The overly extensive... More

We made a reservation and when we arrived the place was 90% full. The menu is a bit overwhelming and we were told that there were absolutely no substitutions. This made me a bit suspicious as I cannot believe that the two chefs who were on hand that night could possibly make all of those dishes from scratch. Some of... More

We called earlier in the day to get reservation for a large group of 8. Note this is a small restaurant and greater than 4 is generally a large group. We were told we might have to wait a bit, but they took our reservation. We showed up a few minutes early and they did have us wait for a... More

We went to celebrate a friend's birthday. It is a wonderful restaurant with a large menus and inventive food. I had the excellent balsamic shrimp dish with artichoke hearts, asparagus, capers, garlic and roasted peppers. Others had the shrimp and chicken seasoned with curry on farfalle pasta. The desserts were amazing with a large selection. The wine list offered many... More

My family has been going to Euro Cafe for somewhere around 25 years. We regularly take company too. In fact, I took a friend who travels the world consulting and can be considered a foodie. He said Euro is in his top 5 restaurants. The quality is good and the portions are large. My wife and I generally split a... More
