My wife & I were staying in RioVerde and didn't discover Desert Canyon until the next to last night here - our bad. We had very good meals with wonderful views from the veranda served by Ilana. We'll be back our next trip out here.

Upscale, public golf course with a beautiful club house. Great view from the restaurant. Ambience was great. Food was good but somewhat overpriced. Service average.

This restaurant is the best "fine dining" one in Fountain Hills and rival ones in Scottsdale. We have only eaten dinner there, although it is open for breakfast & lunch. We had eaten breakfast here previously several times. Each time the food and service was good. So when friends arrived from out of state, we brought them here. Big Mistake! While visiting friends in AZ we went with a group to The Steakhouse at Desert Canyon. I am not even a beef eater, but the food looked so fabulous I had to try it. Our meal was great, service was great and we heard they had a wonderful daytime view. Loved the Layer Cake Shiraz!
