This place has really good food and great value. Their lunch specials are wonderful. The restaurant is smaller and older, but the service is always good. The patio is nice when it cools off. If your looking for a good meal for a good price, check it out.

Love the food here. Got take out for dinner and the portions were huge! Crab rangoon could use a little more flavor but everything else was great!

Was attending the arts festival and found this beside the street fair. The lunch prices are $4.99 to $5.99 and you get soup with this. The taste was good. I will defintely be back even though I have to drive 25 miles. The service was excellent also. My husband had the honey shrimp and I had the kungpo chicken.

This kind of restaurant is so common in retirement towns, but I don't think the root of the problem is older people. The problem with retirement communities like Fountain Hills is that people have retired here from small towns and other places where the minimum standard for food is pretty low, so there is no reason a poor-to-middling restaurant would... We are not sure what type of food was being served here and it did remind of of Chinese, but we were glad we stopped after the not and sour soup and left to find something more edible. All i can say is stay away from the soups and maybe the main course will be better. That is up to... More

Food is "OK" and the atmosphere is typical for a small mom and pop Chinese Restaurant. Never had bad food or service but never had great either. I would rather drive the 15 minutes to either Jade Palace or Ling and Louie's and get some great food and better atmosphere.

We have had take out on two occasions from this restaurant and are very happy with value for money. Just remember entrees come with a small steamed rice. A keeper!

We've had lunch at Chen's several times now and have been pleased each time. It's not a fancy place, but one that offers good food at good value. Lunches run between $5 and $6, which buys you a choice of soups, 2 wontons, a vegetable egg roll, dipping sauces, your entree, oriental rice (well prepared), and a fortune cookie. My... More

When we dined here, my boyfriend had the peppered beef with vegetables, and I had the sweet&sour chicken. We also had a side of wontons and potstickers. The food was amazingly good and hot with the exception of the sweet&sour chicken. It was not as hot as the beef was. Other than that minor disappointment, everything was excellent.
