great homemade bread rolls, and authentic mexican sweet bread! delish! but a little pricey for pan dulce.... being from LA I am accustomed to amazing pan dulce, at a fair price...nonetheless, it was very good here!

I've driven by this little place many times and decided to check it out. What a treat! This is a REAL Mexican bakery. The displays are lovely, the variety of baked goods is great and you get service with a smile! I bought two lunch sandwiches: beef, bean and potato, a raspberry empanada and a sugar cookie. All were delicious!... More

Hiding off of Main Street, Romeros Panderia pastries, jalepeno cheese bread, and Chorizo burrito left my husband and I speechless! They have been open for 11 years, and this was the first time we stopped in unfortunately. They also have coffee which is a bonus If you are looking for a fast breakfast, and coffee on the way to work!... More

In the franchise-land we live in, it is a rare thing to taste really excellent bread and pastery. The bakery sits by itself (not in a strip mall) and the owners/bakers are engaging. We bought several different items and the taste and fragrance was fabulous. The inside is modest and there is a small patio by the front entrance. Thankfully... More

We stop by this place every morning. They make a variety of breakfast sandwiches that change from day to day. The locals have discovered them and they are gone by 9:00 am. They make a chicken and rice with green chile that is fabulous. Anything with their red sauce is great. Stop in and see Rosa and Hector early in... More

I came here to buy breakfast pastries for my movers who were delivering our things, and because I wanted to try it myself, and I am so glad the movers didn't want any, because I ate it all! =) The apple empanada was my favorite, but it was all good! Also had cinnamon rolls, and a huge shortbread cookie, and... More

everytime I come to Cottonwood, I have to stop by Romero's. It's just a litle place, and you will miss it if you're driving too fast around the curve on your way into oldtown. I lived in Mexico when I was achild and this is the real deal. They have all the pan dulce you could want. Their cookies are... More

Caught a glimpse of this little bakery on the curve of the road and asked my husband to turn around. Visited with the owners who were friendly, gracious, and honest when we asked them which pastries were the freshest -- Turns out it was the hotdog buns which we didn't need or want :) I had a scrumptuous pumpkin empanada...
