We had breakfast here. Our party ordered the quesadilla, burrito, 2 egg breakfast, and pancakes. Everything was well prepared and delicious. The ingredients were fresh. The staff was friendly.

My husband and I ate lunch here before hitting the street to poke through the antique shops. It is casual, friendly, and has excellent food. We chose a table, read the menu, then went up to the register to order. I had the BLT and my husband had the chicken salad sandwich. Both were done creatively, different from the usual.... More

Okay, I hate breakfast. But what I had here was AMAZING! EAT HERE. My husband was thrilled with the jam and wanted to buy more of it to take it home.

From the outside, the Red Rooster looks like a lovable grunge-era relic that just refuses to give in to trends. On the inside, however, it's bright, inviting, and has a delicious mix of organic and free-range choices on the menu. We went for the BLT with avocado, and, being a Deep South bacon-lover, I can say unreservedly that this was... More

We went here for brunch on a recommendation of one of our four guides. We ordered the huevos ranchero and iced coffee. Everything was very good and super fresh - you can tell the beans were fresh and the eggs were perfectly cooked. It was nice to sit outside under the awning and enjoy the day while we ate.

This review is actually for The Seed Restaurant. The Seed shares their kitchen with the Red Rooster Cafe. Their dining room is just behind the Red Rooster in Old Cottonwood. The Red Rooster serves meals during the daytime...and the Seed offers night time gourmet dining. I know this sounds complicated, but it certainly works. Lynn and I had one of... More

The wait after ordering is linger than in chain restaurants, but the food is fresh and worth the wait. Bigger portions than we expected. Nice, interesting menu. Had some music outside. Seems very relaxed and a spot for locals. Would go back.

This is a must stop whenever I'm in Cottonwood. Great lunch fare, service great for such a small busy place. No traditional table service, just order up front.

We came in for breakfast. It was busy but they had another room in the back for seating. Menu wasn't super extensive, but it didn't need to be. I got a 2 egg breakfast, my husband got a skillet and we got a pancake for our 2 year old. My breakfast was great, thick awesome bacon! My husbands skillet was... More

We stopped on our morning out of town and it was a very cute little breakfast spot. The food was very fresh and portions were generous. There was a little wait and took us a while to get a table, but well worth it. It would also be a place to just enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and... More
