A twist on the standard breakfast

The Red Rooster Cafe offers breakfast and lunch only and has a number of well crafted dishes that wake up the taste buds. I tried the smoother egg open face sandwich which starts with a fried egg on toast, then adds a feta cheese sauce and roasted asparagus. Nicely done. There is also a... read more

Stopped here briefly to see about an espresso-to-go. Staff was super nice and helpful, and cared to make my drink exactly as I'd like it. Great service and awesome espresso to-boot!!

Great selection of home made and home created breakfast items and the price is right. We had huevos rancheros like none before and eggs and bacon with a salsa twist. Cash only. But the service was great and attentive and the food is plentiful.

Mid afternoon stop for coffee in this pretty little artsy, hippie heaven in the Verde Valley. The carrot cake begged to be our snack, but the barista told us that the best carrot cake was at Cafe Hun in Baltimore. Could be as we've enjoyed great food there too. Replete with red roosters everywhere, this little cafe is the perfect... More

I had the two egg breakfast with the pancake and bacon. Simply delicious! The bacon was just the right balance of sweet and savory, and has just enough fat to it to be the perfect cut. The pancake was fluffy and light, but just the right amount of "chewy" that makes a good pancake feel like a meal in itself.... More

We were staying in Jerome when I saw an ad for Larry's Antiques in Cottonwood, so we had to drive over and check out Larry's and Cottonwood. We arrived a little early and decided to have a quick breakfast before shopping. The Red Rooster is located about a block away from Larry's so we stopped there. This is a nice... More

I do love Sedona, I really do but, revitalized Old Cottonwood - has new charms. Wine rooms, beer tasting and hotels, are all contributing to Cottonwood coming up as an alternative to Tourist ridden and backed up traffic in Sedona. You can always drive into Sedona for hiking, but Sedona does get a little tiresome with the traffic. Cottonwood is... More

Had the basic breakfast of eggs and bacon - bacon was thick and tasty. Loved the homestyle fries and homemade bread. Prices were most reasonable too. Service was the best!
