Along an historic highway towards Wine Country you'll step back into how the west once was. There's nothing else like it as you dine in one of the most unique restaurants in Arizona! You'll be impressed with the rustic and authentic cowboy eatery. Enjoy fine steaks & seafood in the lush tree tops & large creek-side setting while watching the wildlife below. Eagles call this home, while the beavers build and the otters frolic. Find herons, wood ducks, turtles and others scouting out where they too find some of the best food in these here parts. Fine dining in a historic, but casual atmosphere. Join us for one of the best culinary experiences around. Freshly prepared and made to order Angus, Dry-Aged & organic grass-fed meats, homemade soups and desserts. Want the best; then come out West and see what all the locals are talking about. Full bar & fine local and international wines.

We have eaten at Up the Creek many, many times over the last several years. We were looking forward to trying the new menu developed by the new owners. Overall, I must say we and our friends we were dining with were disappointed. On the positive side, the wine selection is larger, the tables are now angled providing everyone a... More

Dear DLA2600, Thank you so much for dining with us and for giving us your feedback. We are pleased that you appreciate the larger wine list. While we do offer a few glasses of wine for $7, we are looking for a few more additions in the lower price per glass range to better accommodate all of our guests. We... More

We spent $90 and it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have had in quite a long time. My 12 year niece and I arrived for dinner. We decided to be spontaneous and try something we had never had before so we ordered the Rabbit Ravioli ($11). A few minutes after bringing us our appetizer, the waitress... More

Dear Pam, The satisfaction and positive dining experience of our guests is very important to us. We wish we had known about these issues on the night that you were dining and take your concerns to heart. We have already communicated with the kitchen how the ribeye was cut and appreciate your feedback on the rabbit raviolis. In order for... More

My husband and I have visited Sedona six times and enjoy visiting the Page Springs area. On this trip we were delighted to see that the restaurant on the creek was under new ownership and very cleverly named 'Up the Creek'. The experience of our two visits to the restaurant was amazing. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, the... More

We had been by this place a few times and then heard from the locals that it was pretty good. We joined some friends and gave it a try. It did not disappoint. Menu was interesting and the food quality very good. Enjoyed being able to watch the creek as well - saw a river otter and some common mergansers... More

30 minutes from Sedona but worth the drive. My boys loved the elk dish!! Best entree we had on our trip. The brussel spout appetizer was also delicious. Loved the jambalaya that had lots of big shrimp. Make sure to make a reservation. Great dinning experience!

My daughter and I loved this restaurant - from the moment we walked inside it was an incredible experience, someone was playing a beautiful song on the piano, a panoramic view of the river & trees, the inside had a custom made stone fireplace in the center surrounded by a natural wood bar, with a great wine selection, ( local... This restaurant sits on a hill overlooking a beautiful, gently flowing creek. Very relaxing, great service, awesome food and good prices. Up The Creek Grill was recommended to us and we are so glad we took the advice, totally enjoyed the food and scenery.

Perfect spot for an amazing meal and creek watching. My husband had the rack of ribs and they were perfect. I had the elk which was one of the best meals I have ever experienced. The atmosphere is country and cozy and the food is world class. Exciting and fun wine list and service. We have found our favorite spot... More

Fine dining in a low key and casual atmosphere. Perfect local spot for a meal. Our party ordered the elk dish and burgers. The elk was very tender and very tasty. The burgers were substantial though not too large or over loaded, and quite delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend a stop here.
