Along an historic highway towards Wine Country you'll step back into how the west once was. There's nothing else like it as you dine in one of the most unique restaurants in Arizona! You'll be impressed with the rustic and authentic cowboy eatery. Enjoy fine steaks & seafood in the lush tree tops & large creek-side setting while watching the wildlife below. Eagles call this home, while the beavers build and the otters frolic. Find herons, wood ducks, turtles and others scouting out where they too find some of the best food in these here parts. Fine dining in a historic, but casual atmosphere. Join us for one of the best culinary experiences around. Freshly prepared and made to order Angus, Dry-Aged & organic grass-fed meats, homemade soups and desserts. Want the best; then come out West and see what all the locals are talking about. Full bar & fine local and international wines.

Great food

The food here is great! We have tried several different items on their menu and have not been disappointed. The view of the creek while dining is so peaceful. Stop in and find out for yourself - you'll be glad you did!

We stopped for lunch and we were all impressed with the experience. One had a burger with some great choices for toppings. She loved it. Her husband had a chicken salad sandwich which he said was really good. My husband and I each had a prosciutto, Apple and brie pannini sandwich that was fantastic. The clam chowder was good, too.... Three of us semi-locals wound up here for dinner last night - what a great discovery! The food was innovative and delicious, everything from the appetizers (grilled Brussels sprouts with shaved Parmesan and capers, creamy goose liver pate on baguette points) to the main dishes to the dessert. All three (new) owners solicitously checked in on us in the course... More

We discovered this place a few years ago while staying in Sedona. What a find!! Out in the country away from all of the traffic. Great food and a fun loving staff. We go there every time we are in the Sedona area. Try their baby back ribs!!

We stopped by here down the road from the wine tour we had in cornville AZ, at first glance it looks like your average old town shack restaurant, but as soon as you walk through the doors, omg! place is beautiful. We had the opportunity to meet with the owner originally from Ca. There is a big fire place elegantly... More

Interesting menu choices at Up the Creek. I can recommend the fish tacos and Arizona trout, and the burttermilk pie is to die for. The service is also excellent and the staff very friendly. We hear it has new ownership, and I say, " Don't change a thing!"

I was lucky my sister had just eaten there the month before when she was in the area with her daughter at a retreat, and recommended it. My daughter, Mom, sister and I were driving back from the Grand Canyon on our last night in Sedona before heading to Scottsdale to spend time with our brother and they let us... More

After completing our afternoon ride with Horsin Around, Dave recommended we check out Up the Creek for dinner. Well, what an inviting pub/restaurant. The staff were wonderful and friendly, and the food was fantastic. By far the best food we had our entire trip through America. You cannot miss this place!

Please don't tell too many people about this great little gem. I don't want it to become too crowded and lose all its charm. This is really a 4.5 star review...too bad I can't split circles. We found this restaurant using Yelp after a demoralizing but necessary stop at the local Walmart to pick up some groceries. After that, we... More

We have been going to the Up the Creek every few months for the last couple of years. I usallyy can no more than 3 months without getting my onion ring fix, and what was the best hamburger in Arizona. We went today only to find out that it has new ownership. The onion rings were just that (plain ole... More

Dear Teri, We still have the best burgers in Arizona, the only difference is that we now hand press our half-pound, Black Angus patties, in lieu of the pre-pressed, frozen 1/3 pound patties that were being used. We also havee Thomas' sandwich size English muffins for our buns. The Page Springs burger still has roasted green chiles, grilled mushrooms and... More
