Along an historic highway towards Wine Country you'll step back into how the west once was. There's nothing else like it as you dine in one of the most unique restaurants in Arizona! You'll be impressed with the rustic and authentic cowboy eatery. Enjoy fine steaks & seafood in the lush tree tops & large creek-side setting while watching the wildlife below. Eagles call this home, while the beavers build and the otters frolic. Find herons, wood ducks, turtles and others scouting out where they too find some of the best food in these here parts. Fine dining in a historic, but casual atmosphere. Join us for one of the best culinary experiences around. Freshly prepared and made to order Angus, Dry-Aged & organic grass-fed meats, homemade soups and desserts. Want the best; then come out West and see what all the locals are talking about. Full bar & fine local and international wines.

Great Little Restaurant

Big surprise in the middle of nowhere. Great service and food. Homey atmosphere. We had a great meal after an awesome ride with Horsin Around Adventures.

We had our anniversary dinner here. The food was excellent and the view was exceptional. The roasted beet salad is not to be missed and their steaks are perfectly cooked. One of the best teaks I have had in years. Hubs had the prime rib and it was oh so good. They have 2 different menus. The dining menu and... More

We enjoyed a good meal and super views of the river and the bird feeders over lunch. The burgers on offer were substantial and delicious - try the `Sedona' and the `Oak Creek'. The kingfisher, robins and blackbirds flitted by the water's edge, but the real delight was the hummingbirds coming to the feeders just outside the window, giving us... More

We were staying at Lo Lo Mai and decided to check this place out after wine tasting. We had thought about going to Cottonwood but on the recommendation of the guy working at Page Springs Winery, we went to Up the Creek. Holy cow! It was in all honesty, probably one of the best meals I have ever had!!! The... More

We eat at Up the Creek once a year when we come visit the Cornville/Cottonwood area. Not a fancy building on the outside but an amazing view of the river inside the restaurant. The food was very good. My husband ordered the seafood special and said it was excellent. He was going to order the salmon , but enjoys it... More

We have eaten at Up the Creek many, many times over the last several years. We were looking forward to trying the new menu developed by the new owners. Overall, I must say we and our friends we were dining with were disappointed. On the positive side, the wine selection is larger, the tables are now angled providing everyone a... More

Dear DLA2600, Thank you so much for dining with us and for giving us your feedback. We are pleased that you appreciate the larger wine list. While we do offer a few glasses of wine for $7, we are looking for a few more additions in the lower price per glass range to better accommodate all of our guests. We... More

We spent $90 and it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have had in quite a long time. My 12 year niece and I arrived for dinner. We decided to be spontaneous and try something we had never had before so we ordered the Rabbit Ravioli ($11). A few minutes after bringing us our appetizer, the waitress... More

Dear Pam, The satisfaction and positive dining experience of our guests is very important to us. We wish we had known about these issues on the night that you were dining and take your concerns to heart. We have already communicated with the kitchen how the ribeye was cut and appreciate your feedback on the rabbit raviolis. In order for... More

My husband and I have visited Sedona six times and enjoy visiting the Page Springs area. On this trip we were delighted to see that the restaurant on the creek was under new ownership and very cleverly named 'Up the Creek'. The experience of our two visits to the restaurant was amazing. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, the... More

We had been by this place a few times and then heard from the locals that it was pretty good. We joined some friends and gave it a try. It did not disappoint. Menu was interesting and the food quality very good. Enjoyed being able to watch the creek as well - saw a river otter and some common mergansers... More
