Pita Jungle has long been one of my favorite restaurants in the Phoenix area. The Chandler location is special because it sits on a lake with a walking path around it. Usually there are ducks happy to entertain, especially if someone wants to feed them. On my last visit we even saw a heron stop in for a splash! The... More

The menu is diverse enough to appeal to most diners and the quality is great. You can tell a chef made the meal and took the time to get the sauces/seasonings correct! I get the grilled ahi or chicken with hummus and a Greek salad OR the fired roasted salmon salad OR garlic potatoes!!! ****Remember to ask for the garlic... More

We've been Pita customers for 10 years. We've tried everything practically from their hummus, falafels, lentil fatoush (with chicken) OMG, shwarmas, chipotle lavosh pizza, spanakopitas, salmon - You name it! It is wholesome, flavorful food in good portions. We never feel guilty no matter what we order! (ok maybe the baklava and spanakopitas) :). Great place to stop by if... More

We eat at Pita Jungles quite often and usually share a meal. Love the Mediterranean salad and the cilantro hummus!!! There iced tea/lemonade is yummy. All servings are generous. The noise factor is the one negative.

Love the food and the art and everyone is usually very friendly. It can be a very noisy place so someone with sensitive ears they may not care for it when they are busy. Go for happy hour and try their tapas and have a glass of red or white sangria. It can be a tight squeeze when they are... More

Ate here on a Thursday evening and it was BUSY! I ordered the chicken tikka masala which was in a tasty but unusual coconutty sauce, served with healthy brown rice. I thought the dish lacked a bit in the veggie department though. It was literally chicken, rice and sauce with some sprouted greens on top. The recipe could be made... More

From the parking lot of this typical corner strip mall, Pita Jungle looks like just another storefront business. Step inside and, despite the somewhat Spartan decor, the back wall of windows facing a small lake and their adjoining outdoor patio make a great setting to have a great meal. This particular Pita Jungle didn't have any beer on tap, but... More

A varied Mediterranean Menu; everything is delicious, especially their Lavosch Pizzas and salads -- get their early if you want a seat on the patio, which is so quiet and relaxing!

The chicken curry pita was HUGE! Definitely something you could easily share. The bad news.... They removed a lot of the local micro brews from their menu.
