A friend and I went to this place because he wanted to have a look at the "deli" side of the restaurant before we ate. We were not disappointed while looking around at the baked goods, though we only bought bagels from the deli to take home, everything looked tasty and imaginative. Their bagels are some of the best fresh... More

This is as close to a NY deli as you will get in arizona. I've been to this location a few times and never leave the place hungry. The thing I like about it is that you can get anything on the menu at any time of the day. So if you want pastrami at 9am, which I do, you... More

So much to choose from, but they were having a special on their Sliders, which are delicious and unique from any sliders I have ever had. Definitely would order those again! But the other diners were enjoying different dishes that looked good as well.

Underwhelming. Off-hours visit with few other customers. Mom got the salmon and liked it. Pop got the liverwurst sandwich and disliked it. Having not having had liverwurst in the last 30 years, I thought what-the-heck, do it. A pile of meat on 2 slices of bread, a little lettuce and onion, and no mayo. The preparer couldn't quite hit the... More

I love Chompie's; been going there for over twenty years. I've never had a bad meal there. From matzo ball soup to stuffed cabbage to great corned beef, they have it all and you get a lot of whatever you ordered!

Had dinner at Chompie's in Chandler tonight. What a great comfort food meal. Had the half sandwich & cup of soup meal for around $10.50. Yes, if you want a really good sandwich you have to pay a little more. Had the matzaball soup and the ruben. Corned beef was the most tender I've ever had. Soup was great too.... More

Great breads, bagels and pastries. Service terrific. Portions are quite large. Always bringing around samples of various items. When we were here last week sampled new item, cross between a crossaint and a bagel. Was lighter than bagel but very good. Great breakfast place. Very busy and often have a short wait but well worth it!

My wife and I have eaten here twice in the last month. Once just for bagels, which were different from the past. Light, airy and not the chewy goodness of past years. The second time was more disappointing. The restaurant has slipped a bit into disrepair and was not clean. The lady's restroom was very dirty. The bagels were, once... More

A bit expensive, but if you miss that kind of food, worth it. The pastries are quite tempting. Take your time and soak in the atmosphere.

If you were raised east of the Mississippi it's a challenge to find authentic ethnic food until you hit SoCal - well theses guys did & the matzo ball soup is to die for ;) attentive servers will keep me coming back - nice job all around
