First time at this Thai Basil. Arrived at 7 on a Wednesday night and there were four other tables full. We were greeted right away and offered menus. We are Thai aficionados so we only took two minutes to decide: Larb, Beef Pad Thai and Yellow Curry Chicken - all pretty standard Thai food. Our server was pleasant and accommodating... More

My wife and I dropped in for lunch today. They have a special deal for lunch. We both had Pad Thai: my wife with chicken and me with pork. The meal came with a small cup of soup and a spring roll. All this for $6.95. The portions are healthy. You can choose spices from 1 to 5 with 5... More

This small restaurant offers a very interesting Thai menu with different levels of spicy (which they respect, so no surprises!) and a good offer of currys that I definitely will go back to try. Portions are generous. Their Pad Thai is really good, as well as the soups we tried...recommendable! Staff is great, fast and super friendly, making the whole... More

Service very short - when asked what came on the avocado salad - avocado was the answer. I was sick all night from food - food was brought out very quickly which makes me question preparation. Food poisoning on a first experience - I'll never go back. Can't go there.

This is the first time I had lunch here (previously had takeout). The food is fresh, portions good. We ordered lunch specials, had the eggplant. It was not overcooked, next time I'll have to add a little heat..Would have loved to try their desserts, but was too full.

Dad got the grilled pork. Turned out to be 3 porkchops. He was delighted. Pad See Ew was really well flavored, and again a hearty portion. I would recommend this restaurant to friends visiting Chandler when they want to avoid chains.

Had dinner here. They have a very large, descriptive menu, which was much appreciated. After having difficultly choosing from so many wonderful-sounding items, I chose the peanut curry-Panang with pork. I asked the server if it was very soupy, and he said he'd make sure it wouldn't be too liquid. While the flavor was really good and the sauce was... More

I have visited Thai Basil multiple times for lunch, each time it has been excellent. Their Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup is fantastic. The place is small so fills up quickly for lunch, however the restaurant has a great atmosphere, clean, and great fast service. I would recommend Thai Basil and will continue to visit this location for great... More
