Consistently a great dinner experience

The aptmoshere is casual but nice. A little spendy. I have been here 4 times with friends and family. I am willing to trying something new but always find myself ordering the same dinner entry. Misoyaki Butterfish with extra bok choy and no rice. Although there's no butter per si, the Misoyaki... read more

Three choices for hits all good, three entrees, all good and two delicious desserts. $33 a person. Plus beverages. We walked ot with a 115 bill including tip.... More

I had 5PM reservation on April 15, 2015. It was my husband's birthday dinner. I had several friends to join us for dinner as a surprise for him. One of the couples had their 11 year old son with them and the menu has VERY LIMITED choices for kids. My mixed plate: Lobster, crab cake, rice and shrimp was excellent... More

I have had 2 experiences with Roy's in the last 6 months or so. The first was during restaurant week when we decided to try Roy's out with a couple we were taking out for a thank you. Our server was extremely rude, seemed frustrated when we asked to see a restaurant week menu, telling us that he didn't have... More

While the food was very good, the amount of food was incredibly small for the price. Also, don't order a glass of wine - you'll be lucky if you get 3 ounces. Might as well order a bottle - at least you know what you are getting.

Great experience at this beautiful restaurant. Great food, knowledgeable staff, wonderful presentation, food was exceptional. Our special celebration was acknowledged with a photo, complimentary dessert, a congratulation placed in the menu, & a special presentation of the menu wrapped with a ribbon. Make sure you mention your special event, as they will make it even more special for you. Reservations... More

Always a pleasure to dine at Roy’s and the only chain restaurant I consider a favorite. The servers have always been well versed with the menu and the kitchen has been very accommodating on substitutions if asked. Roy’s really is the best Pacific rim restaurant in the Phoenix area. At times the bar patrons can become a little loud and... More

First, Happy Hour is a great bargain at Roy's. $6 drink specials and apps. Dinner special is the Butter fish that is the best. My ribeye was cooked to perfection. A little pricey but the service and attention to detail makes the experience special. Will return again when in the Phoenix area.

We ate at Roy's on Valentine's Day 2015. To our surprise, they didn't have their regular menu, even though there was no mention of a special menu on the website or on Open Table. The starter that my wife and I both chose was the coconut shrimp. The flavor was delicious. My wife's was cooked perfectly. Mine was dark brown,... More
