Eaten at four Roy's - this one isn't worth going to

We went to Roy's for my daughter in laws birthday. We arrived early, 20 minutes. We could not be seated and the bar was full. Even though we were able to get a glass of wine we had to wait out on the entrance way. It had seating for three people. Luckily we were only three at that moment. The... More

This review has been prompted by a standard mailer I recently received from a promotional seminar to be held at Roy's Hawaiian Fusion in Chandler and receive a "Complimentary Free Meal." The mailer and mention of Roy's has reminded me of an experience my wife and I had 6-1/2 years ago, while celebrating our 20th anniversary (note: February 2014 was... More

We had the seafood trio and added one more to make it a quad. Each of the four was unique and delicious. The desserts were both outstanding, you have to give them extra time to make them. It was my birthday and they took a nice picture and gave it to me before we left.

Been there done it.. this time it was not as good as expected. I think the prices went up. If you have the choice and really want good food for your money you might choose another place.

We had an early reservation and were quickly seated. Almost immediately our waiter was present with menus and requests for drinks. Relatively early yet the seating was filling up quickly - Saturday night (and most nights very busy). Drinks arrived details on menu were elaborated and selections made - all very good and delicious food but for the portions received... More

I have always liked this restaurant and have been there before. So we made it our choice for a family Christmas dinner a bit early. I had a table next to what I assumed was a private dining area with a large party that was distracting so that was a bit unfortunate. I always get the Butter Fish which was... More

Know how you judge a book by it's cover and you shouldn't? Well, I made assumptions that turned out to be false. Service was terrific, lovely atmosphere and by far the best seafood I have eaten in ages. There was 4 of us and everyone;s meal was a 10! Don't let the mail look outside fool you.

I have just reviewed the comments of a few 30 or so of what people write about this restaurant. Yes it was on the higher end of price for Phoenix. My wife and I enjoyed the tastes that were displayed in the various dishes that we ordered. I think the food was good ( not excellent) as in I have... More
