Great place for good food and comfortable atmosphere.

Plenty of food options. We had the fajita for one and my wife and I split it and it was plenty of food. The wait staff was fun and great service. The carrot cake was very moist and tasty. Certainly will return. How could you not like a place with a name "Horny Toad" lol

We were looking for a rustic place in Cave Creek for a mini family reunion lunch. My sister and I had decided on Indian Village (because we wanted native/Mexican) but they had problems getting our mother and her wheel chair into the dining room. So we went next door to Horny Toad. It certainly satisfied in rustic charm. Most places... More

Extensive well priced menu, friendly staff and the food is GOOD !!! Everything from burgers to chicken to steaks and seafood and a goodly assortment of salads plus Bar-B-Que, of course and many "sides" ... desserts priced OK except for the apple cobbler and strawberry shortcake which back east would be considered sort of ordinary.

I always have liked a great joint like Horny Toad grill and bar in Cave Creek. It has become a tradition to go to Horny Toad after a round of golf at Rancho Manana Golf Club (also in Cave Creek). It really feels good to enter this place after a hot game of golf in the summer. It's cool and... More

We happened to read about the Horny Toad in the Highlands magazine published by AAA, and since we were earlier in Glendale, AZ, we decided to take a ride. If you've never been to Cave Creek, AZ, I suggest you visit. It's like an oasis in the far corner of the desert. Driving thr4ough the incredibly tall Saguaro cactus, I... More

We have always liked this place. The fried chicken is really good. It is always busy and the interior is rustic. The prices are reasonable. We were able to sit outside with our small dog but last time told we couldn't. We left...couldn't leave our dog in the car in the heat. We find it hard to find places that... More

6 kids, ordered off kid's menu, "chicken strips", described as white meat breaded, etc..., what we were served was the Dino - shaped frozen Dino- nuggets that you can buy at Costco! Total disappointment, as was my mom's taco salad. My bbq chicken sandwich was "okay". Haven't been here for 20 years, then for dinner which was good then.

The fried chicken at Horny Toad is really good. Everyone at our table order it and thought it was great. Also, they have good strawberry shortcake. I will go there again next time I am in town.

What a fun restaurant to go to. If you are looking for a fun night, where you sit at a picnic table and have the best chicken and ribs in Arizona, go to Horny Toad. The food was delicious and the service was great. Fun and affordable place to eat. I would go again.

The Horney Toad is located in Cave Creek and has an old west feel. For us, one of the best things is that it is not a chain. My son had a cheeseburger, my wife had the pork sandwich and I had the grilled chicken sandwich (buffalo style). The portions were large and the food was very good. My teenager... More
