This is a good restaurant for quality food and service!! The portions are "huge" and good. The green and red chili are wonderful. Fried chicken............just homemade favorites done right! Prices are fair and expect a crowd!

If you are in the Carefree or Cave Creek AZ area and want good breakfast, look no further. This place will amaze you with real scratch cooking, monumental portions and if feeling loose, the bloody Mary's are top notch. You can't go wrong on the breakfast selection you make! All from scratch and the jalapeno bacon is killer!!!

Our breakfast in this funky little cafe was just superb-- generous portions and a unique menu with something to please everyone. One specialty is green pork chili which they serve with several items and my husband loved the blueberry-bacon pancakes. We returned later for dinner and reserved the 1957 cutout-convertible booth with our two young granddaughters. They were thrilled to... More

We wish we had found this place sooner during our trip. We had breakfast here prior to heading to the airport. The Heavenly Hash was just that, heavenly. The steak was tender, and portion generous. Chicken fried steak was tender and delicious too. I hear they have great wings but we did not have an opportunity to try them this... More

Stopped here for lunch on our way to I-17 and we were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the restaurant, large amount of menu choices. We arrived at 12:20pm and could have had breakfast or lunch (lunch starts at 12:30). We opted for lunch but noticed other patrons orders of pancakes coming out and they were... More

The food here is excellent. Raspberry granola pancakes are a must. Portion sizes are big. I've never walked away anything less than full and happy!

Our trip to Heart and Soul was a happy accident that almost didn't happen. Don't let the strip-mall turn you away, the inside looks like Arnold's from Happy Days with the addition of an eat-in '57 Chevy, and though milk shakes are on the menu, the saloon offers a full selection of adult beverages including several craft beers. But the... More

Who could ask for more, right? Well, it's not great food but the choices are interesting. They're known for their breakfast but we haven't been there for that. Their lunch and dinner menu have good choices and the food is well prepared. The prices are reasonable for the area and they have a good location. Some nights feature live music... More

Ten of us from our neighborhood are in shock after patronizing this restaurant at breakfast on the 4th of July. This was our fourth visit to the restaurant, the second for breakfast and twice for dinner. We had a reservation at 10:00 only to find that our table had been given to another large party who had arrived without a... More

We stopped here after a trail ride. The menu had many selections. We got an omelet and 2 good to be true (2 eggs, meat, pancakes or French toast). All the food was prepared as asked and came out in a timely manner. The coffee was good and the waitress was attentive with refills. I highly recommend this place to... More
