The first time we went here a year ago, service and food were wonderful...this time not so much! Maybe there are new owners or cooks....definitely not worth the time to get there or the money spent. Food is mediocre...nothing to write home about. Definitely stay away from the apple crisp desert! Small portion with a huge price! Stay away!!!!

I went to this restaurant for lunch with a friend. She had been there before for dinner. I had a burger. The meat was delicious. I also purchased a pound of sliced brisket to take home. My husband and I thought it was very good. The prices were reasonable, and the table we had was comfortable. The server was knowledgeable... More

My wife and I just had phenomenal BBQ'd chicken and ribs at Bubb's. Also had cole slaw, steak fries and Mac & Cheese as side dishes - all were off the charts! Definitely rivals Phil's, Famous Dave's and others in San Diego. We visit Tucson/Oro Valley 3-4 times a year. This falls into our "mandatory stop" list. The people are... More

We came for lunch today and enjoyed the Tobacco Onions (fried onion rings with ranch dip), and for the meal my husband had the burnt ends appetizer (delicious and tender) and I had the award winning pulled pork sandwich (yummy) with cole slaw. The coke slaw was a little wet, but tasted good. Our server, Jimmy, was pleasant and a... More

The Saturday night choice smoked prime rib is unbelievable!!! There is a reason Bubb's Grub is ranked Number 1 of all local restaurants - the moment you are greeted with a warm sincere smile you will feel relaxed and comfortable in true Tucson style. The service is fast and courteous and the food is the best barbecue around. I love... More

Bubb's is known for it's BBQ. You're in the desert, don't get fish. Get that when you're on the coast. I had a combo plate with pork, brisket, and chicken. The pork and chicken were much better than the brisket, which was a little dry. I would recommend you have the pork. For dessert we had Sundae with Bundt cake... More

At 4pm we sat in the bar to take advantage of Happy Hour, only to find out after getting home that we were charged full price. The pork sliders were good, but we needed to add a lot of sauce so they weren't so dry. The fries were just okay and the coleslaw was lacking. Sufficient parking.

So far we've been there twice, and plan to go back again, but only because it's close, and sadly the only one of it's type in the area. The BBQ meats were cooked well, but the sauces were really lacking. The cod fish was slightly under cooked. The potato salad and cole slaw were both slightly pink and had a... More

The barbecue and sauces are great. The service is friendly and professional. The burnt ends, pulled pork and ribs are all outstanding. Bob's is a winner.

It's wonderful to find a piece of home when traveling. I'm from Wisconsin, and was surprised to find Bubb's Grub from the family that owned Kuglitsch's in New Berlin, Wisconsin. If you're looking for a place to catch Big10 games, their bar is the place...at least five TVs all around. The bloody marys rock...try the Bubb's special bloody mary if... More
