The food was good. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The staff was so gracious to our teenage daughters. Their friendliness and prompt delivery of food kept the fun and laughter in a family road trip, especially at the end of a long day.

This place is well located on Florence Ave, has delicious food and I got very speedy service even while they were busy. It's great to sit outside on the patio in the evening. Of course, in November the temperature is just right.

I read some bad reviews on T.A. about Macayo's and most were related to bad service, a few dealt with the quality of food but we decided to try it anyway because it was very convenient and we were up for Tex-Mex. The service was very prompt (less than 2 minutes) after we were seated. Our server was quite friendly... More

I wandered in to Macayo's thirsty & hungry, and found a packed full restaurant, only a couple of open tables... that was fine as I only needed one. Despite the crowd in there, service was attentive, prompt and friendly. I am not a great beer drinker, but they had XX Amber on tap, one I do prefer. The menu was... More

We had always gone to the Macayo's in Tucson so were interested in trying out the one in Casa Grande. The restaurant feels less authentic, but the food was wonderful. I have an addiction to the Baja Shrimp Burro which is not on the menu, but which each of the restaurants were willing to prepare for me. The Baja sauce... More

Go at happy hour and get any of the appetizers! All good especially the mini chimis! We always get ours all beef with guacomole n sour cream on side. Also have great drink prices, but make sure you go at happy hour! Staff is also the best!

Slow service, watched the staff stand together visiting while one bar keep was taking orders and working the bar at the same time, running back and forth for nachos and salsa, 10 minutes after sitting down we got acknowledged, another 5 plus to get the nachos and then another 5 for the draft, so slow is there game. This was... More

We wandered into Macayo's one late Saturday afternoon, looking for Mexican food, and discouraged by our experiences at a formerly local favorite -- in short, we now have a new favorite, and have returned numerous times. We tend to arrive early for dinner 4:30-5:00ish, and have never had slow service. We've seen the same servers over and over, and they've... More

We made the mistake of going around 2:30pm and they were very short staffed. There were 6 of us and it took forever to get drinks and food. We went through many baskets of chips and salsa so by the time the food arrived some of us were full! Once we got the food it was ok.. lacked sauce on... More
