Hope to make this a regular restaurant...

What a great place for dinner. Nice, quaint and very warm inside with tablecloths on the tables murals on the walls.. We were waited on by the owner, Adele Giordano, with her nice N.Y. accent even though she has been in Carefree for a long time. We ordered the Escargot which were delicious and... read more

Been eating here for 11 years on my annual Spring golf trip. Very god authentic New York Italian cuisine. Owner and son run the place like a well oiled machine. They remember their long time customers and treat you as a valued guest.

Giordano's reminds me of a norheast local neigbrhood Italian resturant that serves comfort food. Nothing fancy but good, not too expensive, hmmade food. The homemade soup was fanatic. The meatballs were defintely homemade. Very clean with fast, friendly service. Cannot go wrong eating here.

Delicious Italian food in a comfortable, classy decor. It's obvious that the owners take pride in the preparation and presentation of their varied selections. Generous portions. Excellent service giving us attention that made us feel special. Well worth taking the short, scenic drive from Scottsdale. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a special Italian meal.

We met two other couples at this quaint old fashion restaurant north of Phoenix, Az. Very good menu and wine selections. Food was wonderful and had old Italy flavors. Portions were just the right size. The restaurant was crowded on the Saturday night we visited and many of the dinners were snowbirds and regulars but you were able to carry... More

Now we remember why we so rarely go to this conveniently located restaurant. The food is good but the inexcusably slow service combined with the poorly trained servers make the dining experience not worthwhile. We would rather drive further and pay up for more professional service.

Thank you for your review, I was aware of your complaint that evening and brought out complimentary dessert along with a sincere apology. We were unexpectedly short staffed at the last minute, sorry for your inconvenience. I am extending an invitation to you to come back and dine with us, I will offer free appetizer of your choice. This is by far the best Italian restaurant ever. The ambiance is wonderful and the servers are superb, some of them being family of the owned business. We have never had a disappointing meal. The menu offers many options/choices and it is not a problem to substitute. The wine list is also perfect. Would reccomend making reservations in the winter... More

I really don't understand the high rating this restaurant gets. I had the veal Saltomboca. The meal was good but not amazing and not deserving the price charged. The flavors were dull and not as bright as one expects. If you want to pay for the location you are dining in then dine here. If you want truly amazing food... More

When traveling out west we always need a taste of our east coast Italian, it is usually difficult but now we have giordanos trattoria. Not only is the food authentic Italian, the owner Adele, her son tony, and our ever efficient waitress Kelly made our family feel right at home. We will most definitely return on our next visit.

When visiting by Troon this is a great alternative to going to the pricier Italian restaurants in downtown Scottsdale. Intimate but yet casual, the service is excellent. You don't feel rushed through your meal which is quite a treat. I had Veal Saltimbacco and it was delicious. Topped it off with a nice glass of Chianti and we were back... More
