Fantastic Non traditional Mexican food

Santiago's Mexican restaurant takes a different slant on Mexican food. You recognize that it is Mexican but they do it differently. For example they had a Spinach and Mushroom enchilada with pumpkin seed pesto. One of the sides I got was a grilled corn which had a lovely sweetness and creaminess... read more

This little gem is right on the corner on the main drag of bisbee. The owner Christine is a gem, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The food waS EXCELLENT, well prepared, tasty and good value. The service was very good, and the staff friendly.

This seemed to be a basic "upscale" Mexican Restaurant. Highlights were: nice decor/atmosphere, the staff and the sides dishes: black beans and the roasted corn ! Some of the best I've tasted. I had the Enchilada Suiza, which depended on the tomalito sauce and cheese for the flavor as the chicken inside the enchilada was bland and unseasoned (chef take... More

we ate here shortly before closing on sunday nite of valentines weekend--the whole town was a zoo, and I'm sure the folks at the restaurant were ready to go home, so I'm cutting them a little slack--service was good, other than having to remind server to bring me my drink (excellent micro brew from across the street)--the plate I ordered... Love the atmosphere and the bar! Great bartenders. Food is good, but not great. All in all a good experience! I like going here.

We decided to spend the afternoon browsing the stores on Main Street Bisbee. After several hours of antique stores and wine tastings, thought it a good idea to get a good meal before driving back across the valley. Being Valentine's day AND a three-day weekend, Bisbee was very busy. We checked at several restaurants and Santiago's had the shortest wait.... More

Felt like an authentic Mexican cantina, waiter was friendly albeit a little slow. Went in for lunch, very few people there, so expected a bit more prompt service.Food was good, and ambience of the restaurant was bright and well lit. Colourul decor and cheery. Beer was cold and food was hot. Enjoyable!!

This was recommended by our waitress. It is a meal for two with shrimp and sirloin in a spiced sauce served with tortillas and two sides. We topped it off with a carry out of tres leches cake and flan. Highly recommend all three!

I had heard the food there was spectacular. We got there for dinner at five pm. One chili Ellen's left, no black beans. Margaritas were good, my friend ordered a nine dollar glass of wine that was extremely under poured. Beef tacos were dry and tough. Waiter had never heard of a Mexican coffee. Disappointed, will not be back.
