A fun place, even though it's dusty and old. But, that's Bisbee. I've spent many fun nights at St. Elmo's over the past twenty+ years and have learned to enjoy it's ambiance. Plus, it's where the locals hang out, so after 9 PM you can expect to see all types of characters. Anything is possible in Bisbee, so this is... More

This is a fun place to visit when you get the urge for a brew. Always something entertaining going on, and on New Years eve, it's SRO! But the band is playing in the small room up the steps and a very small dance floor accommodates. It's a small popular bar in a small but fascinating town. You won't miss... More

This bar seemed to be the most lively and popular with the locals of the numerous bars in Old town Bisbee.....patrons were friendly and staff was accommodating.....can look a bit intimidating from the outside but worth a visit.....

Was in town visiting my daughter and son-in-law in Sierra Vista. Took a little trip to Bisbee, which is very delightful and quite an eclectic town. St. Elmo's is an average dive bar. It was nice to sit and talk with the locals and the service was very good. The decor was edgy and old. I think they missed spring... More

This is like two bars in one. When you first walk in, it's kind of dumpy-looking, with lots of stuff, junk, and memorabilia plastered all over the walls, and a few random people sitting at the bar with their drinks. Which is to say it's perfect and the kind of place to spend your entire day drinking in. But at... More

Great dive bar. Lots of Locals and stories if ya get involved. Funny to read the bad reviews. All, it's a Dive Bar. If you don't like that, go to the 4 Seasons in NY. This place is a perfect example of local time.

We were tired of the Pharmacists, Lawyers, and Wannabes trying to pass themselves off as tough bikers at a nearby bar (insulting the real bikers). St. Elmo treated us well for two nights, recommended it to my coworkers once I got home.

found it was the best place to watch the football Monday night. Locals brought in fixins for tacos they served up to anyone who wanted some. bar handed out raffle tickets for giveaways - hats, t-shirts, etc. Historic bar - 1902 - pretty cool place to have some fun during the game.

After I read St. Elmo's Bar could be the oldest bar in Arizona, I had to check it out while in town for the Bisbee 1,000 Stair Climb. We love the old historic buildings, hotels and bars but this was not historic--it was just old and dirty. We tried shooting pool, playing the juke box and hanging out but the... More
