Description: Cafe Roka emphasizes quality food using local ingredients when possible...
Cafe Roka emphasizes quality food using local ingredients when possible, attractively presented with friendly and attentive service in a welcoming environment. During our 22 years in business we have noted the changing eating preferences of the public, and that has driven us to find new ways to prepare and serve dishes that are interesting, savory, healthy, local, and affordable. Owner/Chef Rod Kass combines elements of Vegetarian, California and Italian cuisines, forging a uniquely personal style of cooking that is pleasing to the eye as well satisfying to the palate. Full dinner, light appetizers, a glass of wine or desserts, we welcome you. We feature a full bar with jazz on Friday nights. Reservations (at the bar also) suggested to get the time and date you would like. We also are an integral part of the Bisbee community and the region, supporting local groups whenever we can.

Very classy, small place in Bisbee, Limited menu, but my very vegan wife had a couple choices on the menu with very little if any modifications. I had spicy sausage with penne pasta. Very spicy, totally delicious, topped with slices of broccoli and some kind of cheese. Ate half, had the other half for lunch next day, still just as... More

When you go to Bisbee, AZ you except kitschy, fun, and even a little wacky. What you don't expect is to find a delightful upscale world class restaurant tucked away in an old West mining town turned hippie enclave...but that is exactly what you find. The food is amazing. Seasonal fare perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Extensive wine list. I... More

We love this restaurant. It is a world class restaurant oasis in the unlikely setting of a truly iconic old western mining town. I've never had a bad meal here in well over ten years of visiting Bisbee from our home in Seattle.

I had some skepticism about the glowing recommendations I had received about the great food at a Cafe. On a whim, I traveled to Bisbee, Az to check it out on a Saturday evening. It's on the only main street in this town that winds along a mountain valley so it's easy to find. Without a reservation, I could only... More

The politically correct do not take kindly to crumpling, and the spin doctor who comes on after critical reviews, will soon be appearing. My wife loved her primarily vegetarian dish, so five stars. Mine was simply meat and potatoes, and how can you screw that up? By throwing on so powerful of a sauce that you can no long even... More

Putting aside the snark let me focus on the experience of our guest. His food was not to his liking. His wife love her food. Hostess sitting at the bar not good, waitress did not give timely service. As mentioned before for any guest of ours or any restaurant, if you are unsatisfied with your food, please tell your server.... More

We were there for a wine dinner and the food was great and the wines were outstanding. We have visited this spot for years and always enjoyed the meal and the great service.

Staying in Bisbee. Locals recommended Cafe Roka. They serve four course meals. Soup, salad, sorbet, and entree. My husband and I split the duck entree. ($5 split plate charge. You each get full soup, salad, sorbet, and split the entree. ) Duck came with mashed potatoes, and vegetables. It's a lot of food. We took home half of it. Very... More

This was my first time at Roka and I'm not an expert but I think Roka's obvious success (in terms of drawing customers) should be treasured by its management. We waited about 15 minutes for our reservation. I Understand waiting and maybe the wait, in retrospect, was a highlight of the night. Once seated we found the tables just too... More

This is a long response...We appreciate reviews and comments, it is one of the ways we learn how our customers think about our restaurant. But occasionally there is a review so confusing that it is difficult to sort out what went wrong for our guest; this is one of those. If a 15 minute wait is the highlight of their... More

The chicken entrée was excellent...baked to perfection...my wife had the shrimp entrée and enjoyed it thoroughly. Atmosphere is romantic if that is was your looking for, but meeting up with some friends is great, too! We're staying across the street at The Letson Loft which is another 5 stars!
