Description: Cafe Roka emphasizes quality food using local ingredients when possible...
Cafe Roka emphasizes quality food using local ingredients when possible, attractively presented with friendly and attentive service in a welcoming environment. During our 22 years in business we have noted the changing eating preferences of the public, and that has driven us to find new ways to prepare and serve dishes that are interesting, savory, healthy, local, and affordable. Owner/Chef Rod Kass combines elements of Vegetarian, California and Italian cuisines, forging a uniquely personal style of cooking that is pleasing to the eye as well satisfying to the palate. Full dinner, light appetizers, a glass of wine or desserts, we welcome you. We feature a full bar with jazz on Friday nights. Reservations (at the bar also) suggested to get the time and date you would like. We also are an integral part of the Bisbee community and the region, supporting local groups whenever we can.

As good as any

We have dined in Manhattan, Budapest, Rome, London and on. This place is the equal of anywhere we have been and any meal we have had. Be prepared to enjoy a multi course experience, this is not a grab and go place. Dinner should take 90 minutes to 2 hours. We had 3 courses, my wife is small... read more

Cafe Roka is our go to spot for special occasions because the food is just amazing. We were served a curry soup, salad with creamy basil dressing, lime sorbet and then our entrees. We both got the specials: steak and garlic mashed potatoes and sea bass with shrimp on a bed of lobster ravioli. The presentation is a food art... More

Although the food and service is normally very good, it was much less during our last visit on 12 June. We had reservations for 6 people for 6:00. Upon arrival, our table for 6 was already set and waiting for us. Once seated we were given menus and then ignored for 15 minutes. Then came our water and another 10... More

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I live in Dallas, was in Sierra Vista on business and drove to Bisbee to eat at this restaurant. I have eaten at a lot of restaurants in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and this is possibly the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. My 4 course dinner prepared by Chef/Owner... More

Was in town for a birthday June 4, so happy to have reservation on Friday night, jazz night bonus. This chef/owner is a godsend to all of southern arizona. Had a beautiful meal of scallop/shrimp on a bed of lobster ravioli, with small vegetables, and puree sauce. Everything was wonderful, prices very reasonable, service was great, can't wait to go... Great place to eat. The food is great, the atmosphere is great, the price is a little high but width every cent. It's great for a date night! I can't wait to return to this restaurant, everything was wonderful.

Loved this place. Fred the bar tender, manager, waiter was delightful. Had the wrapped and stuffed date appetizer, salad, soup and the short rib dinner. Everything was just delicious, music, great wine list, upscale but comfortable. Will go back

We went with high expectations based on reputation and reviews. The food was all good and well prepared for the most part. The potato gnocchi soup was thin and water. It would have had little to no taste if it were not for the fresh basil. Salad of greens was adequate. All of the dressing was on the bottom of... More

We had dinner reservations for Friday at 5:15. Although we arrived a little early, we were treated and seated immediately at a table for two on the mezzanine. Our waitress promptly offered us drinks and menus and explained the specials. We both ordered one of the specials: my husband got the seafood extravaganza ( shrimp, scallops, fish and vegetables served... More

Very classy, small place in Bisbee, Limited menu, but my very vegan wife had a couple choices on the menu with very little if any modifications. I had spicy sausage with penne pasta. Very spicy, totally delicious, topped with slices of broccoli and some kind of cheese. Ate half, had the other half for lunch next day, still just as... More
