What we liked: the ambience, corny but quiet, the service, and the soups--except the split pea was needlessly loaded down with frozen green peas. The portions are monstrous, enough pasta for three meals and a side of pasta with meat sauce. The pasta is commercial; the salad is iceberg lettuce, canned olives, and cardboard tomato; the bread is tasteless white... More

We visited this place because of a referral. When we arrived, we were told it was by reservation only. They did, however, allow us in. It's a very small place, hence the reservations needed? We sat down and our server took our order. The owner, I presume, came to our table and said "were you told that we only take... More

We went to Rosa's a few nights ago with a group of Canadian Snowbirds. One lady called ahead for Lasagna, but there were only two servings left which they saved for two people in our party. Everyone else had the special of off menu. Everyone took half their dinner home as there was far to much to eat in one... More

After frequenting Cafe Roka and other fine eateries in Bisbee, I got into the car to see whether the Italian food at Rosas was what some of the reviews suggested. I got there before six, and after 25 minutes, I was told that they were out of lasagna, several ravioli, and various other Italian staples. There were no specials, so... More

We have frequented Rosa's for years and have always loved the food and service. In the last four months or so, however, things have unfortunately changed. There was a change of staff and since that time although the food remains good, the service now is rushed to get you in and get you out. We enjoy a leisurely dinner that... More

The wife and I visit Bisbee almost every weekend as we live about 20 miles away. We have eaten in many restaurants in Bisbee but this was our first time at Rosa's. I had heard it was a tough reservation to obtain (especially when calling about 60 minutes before our desired time) but I thought I'd give it a try.... More

The wife and I were in Bisbee for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary, and made reservations at Rosas. The ambiance was fine - genuine mom & pop Italian - but a little funky, like most of Bisbee. Our booth lacked padding in some spots, or was overly soft in others: we could feel the wooden framework. We were... More

A great Italian restaurant in little old Bisbee? Glad I research on Tripadvisor! This place is a little gem. Be forewarned though - you will need reservations (as in REQUIRED) and in order to get the lasagna, you must preorder it (as in REQUIRED). Once you step into the restaurant, you understand why reservations are required - it's small. Very... More

At this very popular Italian restaurant, you may be greeted by a crotchety old lady, who prides herself on minimizing her guests. If you call within a week for a reservation (only open Friday and Saturday nights), she will laugh at you. If you call outside of a week, she'll usually find you a spot. The staff all work very... We stumbled on Rosa's over ten years ago. We went back every night we were in the area. We had a recent chance to go back, and made a 200 mile trip just to eat there. It is still a great place. The service by Alex and Linda was friendly and humorous. Rosa's pepper sauce and splt pea soup were... More
