Hi had the specialty pizza and it was excellent. My husband keeps raving about the strawberry rhubarb pie. The prickly pear lemon-ade is a special treat too!

We stopped at Kartchner Caverns State Park in Benson, Arizona on July 2 on our way to Santa Fe to research World War 2 spies. It was a very hot, humid day, and we thought it would be great to have something cold to drink. A sign for the Bat Cave Cafe appeared above us. We stepped inside and felt... More

I guess it was closing time after our tour as we were informed only what was in the case was available. Fruits, sandwiches, ice cream and a salad. The salad and sandwiches looked as if they might have been there for a couple of days. We decided to try a sandwich. It was not too amazing at $8, but in... More

When my boyfriend and I arrived at kartchner caverns we had nearly two hours before our tour started. We figured we'd go hang out in the cafe and buy some over priced hot dogs and chips or something. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they had a lot more than that! I had the chicken quesadilla and my boyfriend... More

Okay, granted this was the only place to eat while visiting Kartchner Caverns that wasn't 12 miles down the road in the other direction. I had about 45 minutes between tours at the caverns so I wanted a quick, but healthy bite to eat. I ordered a turkey sandwich with Provolone cheese and the sides were carrots and celery. Love... While my wife and I were at Kartchner Caverns we got hungry. Being a captive audience made me nervous, but when your stomach growls you listen. We had lunch, the food was surprisingly good, the prices were very fair, and the employees were very friendly and professional. The Prickly Pear Lemonade is a definite must try! Between tours we also... More

There aren't a ton of options here, but you can find a quick bite to eat. We stopped here on our way to Tucson after a tour of the caves. Both my friend and I had wraps which were delicious. Mine was a strawberry, chicken spinach wrap with a balsamic dressing. It also came with some celery and carrot sticks.... More

Variety of sandwich and salad creations as well as snacks and drinks.. Designer desserts not expected in a small cafe.. Indoor and outdoor eating.. Try the prickly pear cactus lemonade.

Cute little cafe offers reasonably priced coffee and other drinks. The prickly pear lemonade is quite good. Friendly staff. Nice place to stop after the cavern tour.

The menu was basic, inexpensive fare consisting of prepared sandwiches, soups and salads. Their tortilla soup was good and felt warm on the exceptionally cold day of our visit in February. It's the only food around for miles and they could have gouged us on the price, but didn't. W appreciated that.
