The food was wonderful! Not a lot of great places for a steak in the valley. This one is the best so far. Atmosphere was good, service was good. A little pricey for me but I'll will go back for sure.

Live in the same neighborhood as Settlers Bay Lodge, and really would like to endorse this restaurant unconditionally, but food and service have been inconsistent over many visits, so the best we can give it is a Good to Very Good. During different visits we have enjoyed excellent appetizers, burgers and salads, but most recently were served a very unpleasant... More

My family and I have been to Settlers Bay for dinner about 5 times in the past 6 months or so and have had no complaints at all. My favorite waiter is Jake, he goes above and beyond. Give it a try, I think you'll love it. Seafood, steaks, poultry, etc.

We have been going to this place for two decades - through many ownerships. Our experience on Friday was horrible. It was a Friday night - granted - it was crowded. It took 20 minutes to get drinks. When they arrived, my husband's IPA had a lemon floating in it (It is not Hefe). I ordered seared ahi, which arrived... More

My first time at Settler's Bay Restaurant. Walking in you are greeting by Alaska charm, nice place to take visitors, which is who I was with. Chefs are working up front, behind glass, so very cool to say hello & thank you as you leave. We started with seafood artichoke dip with crustinis - very good. Of course visitors chose... More

A wonderful place to visit where the staff are very courteous and attentive. Real table linens and fanciful table decorations. Ordered the lobster and it was the worst I've ever had. It was drenched in garlic sauce and heavily sprinkled with paprika--that ruined the flavor of an otherwise good lobster. The vegetables were al dente--again not to my liking. The... More

Because we're limited with options in Wasilla's dining arena, we give this place a try every couple of years. It's never failed to disappoint us. They just don't have anything going for them other than the view. Poor service, seriously outdated menu, overpriced and poorly executed.

We live very close to Settler's Bay and hadn't been in a while so decided to give it a try. We were greeted and seated right away, and everyone was pleasant and attentive. We had the seared ahi appetizer, which was very good, although it was a little heavy on the sesame seeds. With the coating on the fish it... More

We live near this restaurant and I took a friend as a guest there for dinner a couple of nights ago, a friend who is allergic to wheat and seafood. We informed the waitress that my guest needed choices that had no wheat or seafood in them and were advised that all their delicious sauces, specially mixed seasonings, soups, and... More

Great view, excellent food and service. The filet is one of my favorites. Hubby likes the prime rib. Some great Alaska fish offerings. Halibut stuffed with crab...yum.
