Five of us went there for supper. Had huge steaks 22oz, great appetizers and service. Sat outside and ate. Waitress warned us that due to the size of the steaks it would take a while to cook them. She was right, it took about thirty minutes to get them to us but they were worth it.

Let me preface by advising that this is not our first trip to the Last Frontier Brewing Company, we have been eating there about twice a month for about six months now. Once we discovered the cozy location, and seemingly somewhat gourmet steaks and seafood, we made it a go to place for our family and recommended it to our... More

An unassuming location off the made road through town, and a fused contemporary/rustic tinged decor and layout lend to a cozy location with live music, a variety of local beers, and a robust menu. We visited twice for dinner and found the same welcoming environment on both occasions. Food was good and actually better than expected. A metropolitan feel in... More

We stopped in this resturant on our way back to anchorage, just trying to find a resturant that was not a normal chain. With 3 people in our party we each had a different type of chicken sandwich and all 3 were FABULOUS!!! The side salad was great, the French fries were probably the best we've ever had! Great service... More

We want this to be our place so badly. We have tried countless times and every time we leave disappointed and even a little angry that we paid so much for sub par food. We now get the beer to go and eat elsewhere. Dishes are never the same twice. Service at the bar is always good. If it weren't... More

We stopped in for dinner and found that the food was average. The crab and artichoke appetizer dip was very good. However, my husband had a burger and he said the peppers on it made it taste very bitter. I had the oyster sandwich. It was good that they know how to not overcook the oysters but the breading was... A late mid-afternoon lunch stop in this local place was just the ticket after a stressful day. A great place to relax and unwind. They had 7 beers from their own brewery. The bison burgers were awesome. Certainly not your typical burger! Go here to relax and try all 7 of the beers since the food is fresh and hand... More

In Wasilla, to my knowledge, there are two restaurants good for local brews. Last Frontier is its own brewery, with a tasty variety of its 6-8 brews on tap, and for sale by growler or keg (may need advance notice). It is hard to spot from the Parks Hwy because it faces south, into a parking lot, rather than west,... More
