This owner is very helpful, chatty and friendly. The store has a little bit of everything. Perfect place to get your take home gifts.

The place looks very basic but the food and service are great! The home made stuff (like the salsa sauce and Pecan pie) are the best. Very good value for money.

I really love the French Fries with Cheese this place have. Also all the workers there are super nice and it is great to meet with local people and see how they live up there. A good stop on the way North.

Really liked our stop at this roadhouse. Be warned it is pretty basic but the service was great, the food really good but not fancy and the prices super reasonable. We really enjoyed the burritos.

We have been there a number of times and it seems to be going downhill. They are usually out of things and the last time we went in for pie, they didn't even have one piece.

Trapper Creek Trading Post is the local's favorite for homemade pies, burgers and breakfast. One of the best places in Alaska for mexican food as well...the gals make their own salsa and serve it up HOT! Prices are reasonable considering the distance to local suppliers. Locally owned and managed....watch for the kids and dogs....we enjoyed this place...it is the local... More
