We stayed for some days in the st Regis (see other review) and had dinner in the restaurant. We have only been there one time as we found the food only "ok" and didn't feel the "wow effect" you would expect - fish didn't appear to be mega fresh and the service was as usual in st Regis not convincing.

We made reservations for the terrace seating and had a wonderful evening dining at sushi take in paradise. The one thing that made this restaurant so memorable was the incredible service we received from our waiter Matthias F & the sushi manager. From the very minute we arrived we were given exceptional care & attention that made our dining experience... More

Service was wonderful. Setting was wonderful. Unfortunately, we are true "foodies" and take our sushi very seriously, so when we were served "chef's favorites" sushimi platter, we really expected the best (especially considering the fish on this island is awesome!) - but, the cuts of fish were poorly done. The sushi chef needs to spend some more time perfecting how... More

We didn't book - so had a table inside - but have to say that every dish ordered was brilliant! Definitely recommend to those who like sushi and sashimi.

Care and pride of service combined with daily fresh fish is a winning combination for Sushi Taki. Truly an excellent sushi restaurant.

Best miso soup ever. Tiger roll was sushi for non sushi types. Try something else. Beef udon noodles was one of the best dishes we had during our stay. I got a Japanese beer thinking it would be a cheaper alternative to wine. 12 ounces and $22 later, I learned different (was hoping it would be a big beer) turns... More

We had the Pineapple Tortellini at Sushi Take and this dessert just blew us away... Definitely don't miss out on the fabulous creations of this restaurants chef (and the maitre d).

I live in LA where there are more sushi restaurants than actors - so though Sushi Take was a really great restaurant, I'm not sure I could say it was 5 star quality. Very good though - and the service is impeccable.

My wife and I ate here 3 times over our week long anniversary celebration. Really good food. Pricey for sure, but worth every penny....every time we went!

The food and wait staff was amazing. There is limited seating so make your reservations well in advance if possible.
