My husband and I are staying at the St. Regis and we were told that we had to eat at this restaurant. Upon arrival, the host was very nice and seated us right away. There were a couple of tables left right by the water, so we were lucky. The waitress came after 5 minutes of being seated. She was... More

We were staying in the four seasons but decided to go here for dinner one evening. The transfers are very steep (given you can pretty much swim there!) but the restaurant was worth it. Amazing food (especially the crusted tuna!) and lovely setting (we were seated right at the end overlooking the sea and the mountain).

The restaurant provides stunning view especially at night for a romantic dinner. The signature dishes we found very food and the service was fine. Overall the best place in the at st Regis to eat and clearly a food place in the area overall.

We arrived prior to our reservation for drinks in the bar and to take in the amazing view of Mt Otemanu from the deck. Our drinks were served by a charismatic and attentive bartender, while we drooled over the view. It may just be one of the most picturesque settings in the world. We took our time with drinks and... My husband and I were staying at St Regis for our Honeymoon and Lagoon was the first restaurant we dined at. We arrived at about 5:15pm to enjoy some cocktails and watch the sunset. As soon as we walked into Lagoon Restaurant we were greeted by an ever so kind gentleman that walked us over to a table on the... More

We were not staying at the St. Regis but I really wanted to eat at Lagoon. I did research online before our trip and emailed the concierge to seek reservations. The response I received was something to the effect of "we don't usually let people eat here unless they are guests of the hotel." I responded that I still wanted... More

I gave this restaurant four stars because the food was just ok. My goat cheese tortellini was not cooked all the way through, which for a restaurant that charges over $30 for four of them, they should get that right. My husband's tuna appetizer was just ok. And while my tip steak was delicious, my husband's was not as good.... More

The best thing about Jean Georges is having drinks outside facing Mt. Otematu. Gorgeous view - and with drinks, they serve you a flavored popcorn (changes each night), toasted peanuts and olives. This is what my husband and I liked most about Jean Georges. We did eat in the restaurant, but found the menu complex and portions extremely small. The... More

So glad we made it past the gate keepers who insisted there were no reservations to be had. We were not staying at the St. Regis, and our concierge could not get us a table at the renowned Lagoon restaurant. Nonetheless, we showed up and had amazing cocktails at Lagoon and asked if they could accommodate us for dinner. They... More

Without a doubt this restaurant has the best views in Bora Bora. We came to have a drink on the deck and stayed for dinner. I totally agree with how one reviewer put it: "It is however your typical fine dining experience i.e. ridiculously high prices for ridiculously small portions." We found the Lagoon by Jean-Georges to be very pretentious.... More
