We came because of a friend's recommendation. They sent a car to pick us up. The place itself has quite a character. The host, waitress and the lady introducing the menu were all friendly and polite. Food was just soso... We ordered two appetizers and two entrees. Their signature dish calamari cake (don't know if I got the name right)... More

Stayed at the St. Regis in Bora Bora and decided to leave the resort one night for dinner. Took the shuttle boat to the main island and after a 15-minute bus ride, arrived at Bloody Mary's. What a cool little place near the waterfront. Upon arriving you are greeted with two huge picture boards showing all the famous people that... More

Large portions! Great fresh seafood! This was a nice change from the food at the resort. Also, a little more americanized then the typically french like cuisine which was a nice change.

This is the place to go (well everyone in the world seems to have been there.) It is a bar / restaurant with tables and chairs cut from tree trunks. The floor is sand! and the bloody Mary Cocktail is the best I have ever had.

On the last night of our wonderful trip to Bora Bora (tonight), we went to Bloody Mary's, knowing it is a touristy spot but encouraged by the many good reviews here. It is a pretty and colorful restaurant and the service was gracious. They show you the fresh catch and explain the menu and specials. I ordered a mahi mahi... More

As always, we were greeted warmly and enthusiastically by Craig, the owner of Bloody Mary's. We shared three wonderful skewers of fire roasted vegetables, one with shrimp and steak, another with swordfish (I think), and a third, at our request, with just vegetables and pineapple. My entree was a delicious and huge portion of pink peppered ahi tuna. It was... More

Its a fun atmosphere, its nice to enjoy putting your feet in the sand. Also, the prices were more affordable than any of the other restaurants on the island.

I never demand or expect super fluffy bubbly service but a little common courtesy should be at least a minimum for a place like this. We made a special trip to visit this destination since we were not staying on the main island. We wanted to come for drinks during the evening but we first made a stop during an... More
