Fantastic!

If you are in talkeetna and do not stop to eat here you will regret it later. We had the Mac and cheese (huge and wonderful) and the pasty with potatoes and peas in a curry and lemonade. Also the Hungarian mushroom soup. THis is wonderful cuisine. It is served in a bunk house and you sit... read more

The breakfast is a must. Served at tables family style so you get to talk to other locals and travelers. Very friendly and the meals are huge. Get the half portions. Delicious breakfast and neat to see the way it used to be for miners and hikers coming into town for a good meal and hot bath.

Ran in, but seating is family style, and nothing was available. Grabbed a blueberry scone and raspberry muffin to go. Scone was great, but the muffin was mediocre.

Our tour guide recommended this place for their home baked cookies and they were right. They also have sandwiches as well if you want to get a to go lunch. Seating is available but the ginger molasses cookies were the reason we stopped there and weren't disappointed.

Homey atmosphere! You'll feel at home striking up a conversation with other vacationeers. Your nostrils will be rewarded as the mouth-watering, humongous portions of food arrive. This place is a must.

Great place to get breakfast, coffee and some great pastries. Their reindeer sausage and cheese rolls things are YUM! If they added egg it would be even better.
