We ate here several times. We ate their salmon sandwich and mushroom soup. Both were excellent. The homemade pies, were are out this world. The best I had in Alaska.

This place was highly overated based on other reviews that we seen. 1st you are sitting with other people as there are no private tables per se not a big deal if you like sharing your table. The food was average but serving sizes were on the light side especially for the prices charged. You have limited choices for breakfast... More

The Roadhouse was very quaint and served delicious lunches and desserts and the wait staff so accommodating - a very nice place to visit.

We went there three times and the service was great and the food was great too. Good place to hangout when it is raining.

We didn't have the pleasure of dining at the Roadhouse, but acted on a tour guide's recommendation to go check out their bakery. We were not disappointed. The cinnamon rolls met my high expectations and the monster cookies exceeded them. Needless to say, they didn't last long in our group! Would love to eat there next time...

Grabbed some baked goods here on the way out of town. Everything was awesome- cookies, pie, cinnamon rolls and savory pastries. Great spot to grab some treats for the road!

The Roadhouse serves up a very good breakfast, especially if you like sourdough pancakes using a vintage starter. Interesting ambience, with lots of climbing memorabilia on display. The adjacent bakery's goods looked appatizing, although we did not try them.

Best breakfast I have ever eaten. Half orders fill your plate to over-flowing. Awesome apple butter and raspberry preserves for their DELICIOUS mega toast. It is family style so you sit wherever there is an open chair. If you are in a hurry, change your plans and stay for the food. Cluttery, messy old place that feels like you've walked... More

Sat at a table with 12 other people, food was very good. Very rustic setting. Small town atmosphere with good service.

The portion sizes are huge and tasty!! We were tipped off that the portions were big and we ordered the "half" size and shared to be able to sample several tasty bites. A very good value and there is no bad choice on the menu. This is also a hostel so be ready to share a table with someone new... More
