The food is delicious. The razzy and the Rudy-in-a-park are both musts. You can't skip over this place. The atmosphere is wonderful, so friendly and warm. The molasses cookies are great as well. The customer service is pretty good. Highly recommend for breakfast. I stop by at least once every time i visit.

We've been in Talkeetna several times and always eat breakfast h3ere. Seating is family style and conversations start themselves and they're always interesting and fun. The pancakes are to die for!!

We had heard so much about this place. The pancakes were wonderful for those who had them. We had eggs and potatoes. The potatoes were very spicy, and none of us liked them. It is very crowded, and the help is not friendly. They are too busy. However, we did meet some of the other people dining, and they were... More

The young folks that the owners have hired are more interested in talking among themselves, to give any type of service, other then just outright ignoring the customer. Sure it is an old building and a bit on the rundown side, but that could be overlooked if the folks that worked there cared about their jobs. We left and will... More

The pancakes were excellent. It is all family seating, you go in and sit wherever there is room. Everyone we ate with enjoyed what they had ordered. This was a fun experience getting to know other people while you ate. The food was excellent, the service was good, but a little slow.

We had breakfast here both of our mornings in town. Too delicious. Very slow service but we enjoyed the atmosphere and you can always grab a baked good while you wait!

We had breakfast at the Roadhouse. We had the half standard which was a huge plate of scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and a thick piece of toast. We shared a berry pancake but didn't need it but had to try it!

This is my kind of place! I love sitting family style, meeting new people and watching people come and go. If you want a quick and quiet meal this is not the place for you! We sat at the first table you come to so had a good seat to take in all the action. The waitress suggested their Strawberry... More

High recommended and lived up to the hype. The breakfast " half standard" was great. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was very friendly. A must eat restaurant in Talkeetna

Reviews were great but the family style tables with torn and tattered chairs put us soooo off that we left without eating.
