A homey place with a nice menu of "handmade" entrees. Portions are generous. Try the Strombolis if you're really hungry. Can be crowded at times.

We were on our way from Denali NP to Anchorage and stopped in Talkeetna for lunch. Since we ate at a Mtn High Pizza Pie in Jackson, WY a few years back we thought we had to eat at a restaurant with the same name. :) It lived up to the food of the one in WY with great pizza... More

Were super hungry after a day of driving around, and glad that we decided to eat at this place instead of the wildflower (the famous one in town). There were a couple of good vegetarian options. The veggie pizza was great, the hummus and pita bread appetizer was just OK. I was a little disappointed with the pita bread, especially.... More

Good pizza and beer. Wait staff is friendly and good. They were slammed on Saturday at lunch so it was slow but my waitress kept me in beer. The live music was good too!

Really delicious pizza, along with very good soup and salads. And, the mac and cheese appetizer (in case you need more carbs and cheese) was great to share. A crowd pleaser.

Right down town. Good service. We ate there because of the gluten free pizza. Great job, even met some mountain climbers coming of McKinley.

I am a pizza snob and this pizza hits the radar screen. Everyone knows that without a good crust... you might as well save the toppings for another use. Todd's crust is pretty darned good. No, it's not the best I have ever had, but it's definitely worth putting toppings on!! And his toppoings are pretty darned good, too. The... More

We tried the Game On specialty pizza. It was reindeer gyro and Italian reindeer sausage with basil and onion. Certainly not our typical pizza! Cost may be high for a 15 inch pizza ($25) but this is Alaska. Place was very popular with tourists but also a town favorite after the tourists disappear. Everything around us that was served looked... More

As a stop on the land portion of our tour of Alaska, we stopped in after a recommendation from our guide. We decided on pizza. Many choices to choose from. 15" pizzas and slices are also available. I had the plain cheese pizza and it was very good. Local Alaskan beers on tap and domestics available as well. Sandwiches also... More
