We had the halibut sandwich & cod fish & chips. Both were excellent & the service was quick & friendly. Reasonable prices as well. Would definitely stop here again.

Beer on tap - all good! My sister had amazing Halibut chunks dipped in beer batter and fried - french fries were the best I've had - did not go for the HUGE hamburger they were on the Food Channel for - I'm sure that is equally as good, if Alaskan Huge is your style.

Our tour guide mentioned this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. The crab legs were very reasonably priced and tasted great. We also had bacon wrapped reindeer medallions. My friend and I ordered different meals then shared. It was delicious and the service was amazingly quick. This is not a fancy restaurant but don't let that stop... More

We had a great experience here. We just needed something quick between tours. This was just the right place. We sat at the bar and the bartender, who multitasks like a champ, was very friendly and helpful with the menu. We both decided on caribou, I had a burger and he had tacos. Everything was very good. Plus you have... More

The 5 of us ate outside, good beer & wine selection, but I wish they had a full bar. I had the fried fish chunks and chips, it was good but I wish there had been more fish. The burgers and chicken sandwiches looked awesome! The outdoor seating was nice and, service was good, and the prices were comparable to... More

Grab a table outside if you can. Come dressed as you are, as everyone else is! Great service. Great King Crab legs, caribou burgers, chowder. A real Alaskan specialty menu. Must try!

This is a very low-key restaurant behind Nagley's general store. A bit run-down looking inside, and very casual on the patio where we ate. But the fish (salmon and halibut) was the best I had in AK. Perfectly and simply cooked. The waiter was friendly. After dinner, I found "the mayor", the sweet resident cat, and he sat on my... More

The price of a plate of king crab legs was reasonable, especially compared to other places we went (Seward, Anchorage, Denali). They have indoor and outdoor seating, we recommend outdoors. Saw the picture of the mega burger . . . . . wouldn't attempt to eat one even if I had help from others! Good service.

We stopped in here to visit and have a drink and some good seafood chowder. A bit busy and crowded because of the weather, but the wait staff was quick

My husband and I stopped by this quaint and rustic restaurant because we wanted to see the famous cat and mayor of the town, Mayor Stubbs. We missed a visit with the famous mayor but were pleasantly surprised at the fantastic menu that displayed an array of diverse and delicious choices. I was unaware, but this restaurant has been featured... More
