We had been fishing a lot each day, for three days, and were ready to have a meal prepared by someone else. This is a nice Mirco Brewery, but certainly not great. Stopped in for a late lunch. Got fish and chips. They looked like they were cooked yesterday, kept overnight, and thrown in the batter a second time and refried. While I enjoy a good crispy batter, these fried pieces of fish were 3/4 batter and 1/4 fish. The fried batter was dripping in old tasting grease. I used a multitude... More

if you are in talkeetna, go here. You'll have a good time and good beer. Being able to taste beers to sample them is nice too.

My cheeseburger was so salty it was barely edible. The service was very slow. There were hundreds of flies inside the window on the glassed in porch.

The "I can see Russia" burger is really on the menu! Famous words from Sarah P. Haha. We had a veggie burger and dessert, it was pretty good. Nice patio seating if the weather is nice. For Alaska, it wasn't that expensive. Would go here again.

Perfect for anyone who would like a little food with their beer! The brew is fresh and food is great quality on a varied menu. There is a little of everything for everyone. This is one of the larger restaurants in town so if you'd like food and service in the summer when it's busier, I'd recommend Twister Creek!

On our way to Denali, we took a detour and stopped in Talkeetna for lunch. It is a quaint little tourist attraction with a depot for the Alaska Railroad. We decided to try the Denali Brewing Company. The fish and chips were good and the beer was cold. This is a nice place to stop.

My wife and I loved this place. I got the hamburger on fresh sourdough bread. My wife got the fish and chips and loved it. The bread pudding was great and they serve an awesome hot chocolate.

Who would expect a microbrewery in a very small Alaska town? Well Talkeetna has one, and they do an excellent job of preparing food and brewing craft beer. The short ribs just melted in your mouth, you did not need a knife to cut the meat. Small menu, but the choices are very good. This was our fourth time dining... More

The beer here is so good they started canning it to sell outside of Talkeetna a few years back. Lots of choices of beer to fit anyone's taste. The menu has a soup, salads, sandwiches and entrees. Tonight we both picked the short rib platter. A huge piece of beef that fell apart with the touch of a fork. Served... More
