It really is a kitchen, a kitchen inside a trailer, with a deck attached to it as the seating area. The food quality is poor to average but you can't expect great food at this little town (Talkeetna) unless you are prepared to spend $15 just for a burger.

Payo consistently serves excellent Thai food, cooked to order with the freshest ingredients. During the long winter, many of us so miss her delicious meals.

Food was very good. Everything was made to order, so the chef was able to make modifications to suit different allergies and diets. For vegetarians, they will omit fish or shrimp paste, which many thai restaurants do not do. If you ask for spicy, you will get very spicy. The location was very peaceful, located outside a camper off Main... More

Excellent menu selection and the food was fantastic. The service was very slow but it was also a busy day in Talkeetna and it was just her cooking/ordering/cleaning. Besides that I couldn't ask for better food. The thai beef soup was amazing!

This was like in Thailand , a simple place, you eat outside, ambiance is relax Just didn't understand why the guy taking orders was smiling or nice at all, just the basic couple of words. Thailand is the land of smile the American owner could want to learn this from his "Wife" Other the that the food was OK we... More

I'm a bit surprised this is #1 on TripAdvisor for Talkeetna. Don't get me wrong... the food is good and service friendly. My wife had the Pot Thai which she said was really good. I had the Chicken with Cashews which was OK. We shared a plate of Fresh Rolls too. The restaurant is an old camper under an awning... More

Wonderful fresh authentic Thai food at a great price. Just off Main Street across from the train station. Covered outdoor seating and served by the friendliest staff you will find anywhere. Best Pad Thai and Spring Rolls in Alaska.

The food was fantastic, outdoor seating was nice. The prices were really good. Don't let the fact that it's a trailer fool you, if you are looking for Great thai food you have to stop in here.

We were wondering around telkeetna and stumbled upon this great little place. The restaurant was one street past the main St, behind the white inn. The food was fantastic. I would almost say it was the best food in Alaska. Very nice service. I was about to skip eating there because their kitchen was a trailor and the dining area... More
