We've stopped at this cafe a number of times on our way north. The food is always presented in an artistic way, and tastes beautiful. We have noticed however, that the prices are quite high for the size of the meals. I asked for a 'small' salad and I've never been served a salad in such a small bowl (lucky... More

Had a quick trip to Ashburton and needed a lunch stop. Stopped in at Nosh for a bite to eat. We sat outside in the unseasonally warm sun.. And had a great lunch. I had the baked feta with warmed olives, roasted capsicum with ciabatta which had a wonderfully dressed small green salad. Absolutely delicious. Great food and service as... More

What a lovely little cafe with inventive and incredibly tasty food. I had a great smoked salmon on pumpkin seed bagel sandwich. It was a great mix of hearty and yummy! Also try the locally made organic soft drinks! Lovely and refreshing. The service was also really friendly and funny.

Stopped off for lunch on our way back to Christchurch from Dunedin. What a great spot for something to eat. As it was winter we sat inside but there is a lovely courtyard and I can imagine it must be great to sit out there in summer. Good food selection and I ended up having the chicken burger and the... I love Nosh. Vicki & Rangi are lovely hosts. The best coffee in town by far (switch coffee) and its always consistent ive never had a bad cup! We have dined here for breakfast, lunch and tea many times now and would recommend it to anyone. Favorites are mussel chowder, lamb wrap and nosh laska yum. See you again soon... More

lovely breakfast, personal service and great coffee!! Good spot for a personal or business meal. Was impressed when they were happy to serve us earlier than they officially opened, and still provided excellent service and experience.

My friend and I were both very hungry, and Nosh didn't disappoint with good food. I ordered English breakfast tea in addition, and it would have been nice to have had some hot water to top up the teapot. We were keen to go back and have dinner there but they are only open for dinner from Wednesday to Saturday,... More

Should we try Nosh Café again after a rather disappointing visit a year ago? Well, nothing ventured, nothing gained, they say, so why not? I'm glad we did, as this was a much improved experience - a greater selection of food, plenty available and service that was first rate. We had a great lunch, enjoyed the chat with the new... More

We thought to stop here for lunch on our way to Dunedin. We were all hungry so we order 3 items from the cabinet, which only two need heating it took 40 mins to have them served to us! There were only 4 other tables occupied. After requesting twice to different ones where our order was the girl who brought... More
