Warm with great options

What a great place to have a meal in a cold night. I have been here several times, my first time for dinner last weekend. The menu has a lot of good options, including organic and free range meat. I ordered the Confit organic chicken leg, lemon and herb risotto with crispy kale and it was to die... read more

Powderkeg has such lovely staff! Our particular favourites were Alix and Rory who looked after us both nights we visited. Lovely environment, good range of food and happy people 😊

Love coming here on a ski weekend. The party atmosphere and table dancing is amazing. Food is also very good, but the bread to dip ratio in the restaurant is very out of wack. We had the steak which was a good size and well cooked. All portions are quite generous. Will be coming back.

An awesome place at the bottom of the Mountain and easy to locate yourself within the small village. Food at the power keg was average. Pizza was well over cooked and we had an enormous wait. We then went for brunch both mornings we stayed at the powerder keg. DO NOT make any changes to the menu ie swap bacon... More

Although the meals were fine I was hoping for somethin different on the menu then burgers and chips and the extended breakfast menu. Was hoping for something more substantial.

We were 2 families of 4 and we loved the food. The ambience was cozy and warm and the food was incredible. Highly recommend!

The floor was sticky/dirty (from the night before), the seating was sparse (all reserved for dinner), the mulled wine was really sweet and seemed too strong on one flavour, we felt a little sick after it. Chips were your basic thin mcdonalds type chips. Not much atmosphere. Wont be back

Average looking/tasting food. Nice location made up for it... Also nice to be left to chat with friends and not be under pressure to eat and go.

Great spot for both kids & adults. Pool tables were popular and the service was great! Kids meals and good variety of food on the menu. Relaxed and great après ski atmosphere.

Just the place to relax after a hard day skiing - good choice of bottled craft beers and a nice mulled wine - so we were happy. Pretty standard pub grub - chips, wedges, nachos, chicken wings. Big servings so hungry skiers catered for. Nicer food available on full menu - a little pricey for the quality but overall pretty... More
