Lovely and laid back.

Went here every afternoon for a few beers and sometimes a bite to eat. The lovely Jake (fantastic) and his fellow waiters did their best to make sure we were well looked after. It was so peaceful by the riverside with magnificent views of the rock tombs and a lovely breeze. Most days we were... read more

We have stayed in Dalyan before and have passed by this restaurant many times not realising its amazing position by the river. The Staff are very attentive, we had fresh sea bass which was amazing, the kids had meatballs and Salmon. We chose mixed starters which they bought to the table for us to choose. We like Kavaklidere wine and... More

Friendly place, lovely starter board of bread and dips. However mains were disappointing, and a bit small. 5 stars for service and friendliness, only 2 stars for food.

Great find having been to other river side restaurants, this one did not disappoint. Good service from friendly informative staff who were always available when needed. Nice food with some lovely local wine. Plenty of tables next to the river with views of lit up tombs.

La Vie has just reopened under new ownership.Food and service excellent even though there w as a limited wine list and menu. The food and presentation werea little different which was great as so many restaurants offer the same food. The best thing was they did not try to drag you in from the street!! The setting looking across the... More

We were brought there by the skipper of the small boat we had rented for a day. we wanted a quick meal, I asked for the price beforehand and I was told a very reasonnable one. However, when the meal was finished, they asked for more than the double. when I protested, they told me that the person who had... More

We ate lunch here on our last day and had a really enjoyable meal. The view of the tombs is one of the best in town and the mezze starter platter was much above the average. We may have been lucky to get a good table during a quiet lunchtime in September but I must say I am amazed how... More

We went to La Vie on recommendation from our rep, who said the seafood was excellent here. When we arrived, we were put on a bad tabble which was too small and made the walkway too narrow. The service was a little slow at times as well. However, the views of the river/tombs are amazing and the food was absolutely... More

Towards end of season and so not crowded. Fantastic view of the Lycian tombs from a riverside table made for a special evening. We tried 2 casseroles, one seafood and one chicken. Both excellent as was the waiter's modestly priced red wine recommendation. Aware that the restaurant has received some mixed reviews but on this showing it deserves to be... More
