Great views of lit up tombs at night

Great find having been to other river side restaurants, this one did not disappoint. Good service from friendly informative staff who were always available when needed. Nice food with some lovely local wine. Plenty of tables next to the river with views of lit up tombs.

La Vie has just reopened under new ownership.Food and service excellent even though there w as a limited wine list and menu. The food and presentation werea little different which was great as so many restaurants offer the same food. The best thing was they did not try to drag you in from the street!! The setting looking across the... More

We were brought there by the skipper of the small boat we had rented for a day. we wanted a quick meal, I asked for the price beforehand and I was told a very reasonnable one. However, when the meal was finished, they asked for more than the double. when I protested, they told me that the person who had... More

We ate lunch here on our last day and had a really enjoyable meal. The view of the tombs is one of the best in town and the mezze starter platter was much above the average. We may have been lucky to get a good table during a quiet lunchtime in September but I must say I am amazed how... More

We went to La Vie on recommendation from our rep, who said the seafood was excellent here. When we arrived, we were put on a bad tabble which was too small and made the walkway too narrow. The service was a little slow at times as well. However, the views of the river/tombs are amazing and the food was absolutely... More

Towards end of season and so not crowded. Fantastic view of the Lycian tombs from a riverside table made for a special evening. We tried 2 casseroles, one seafood and one chicken. Both excellent as was the waiter's modestly priced red wine recommendation. Aware that the restaurant has received some mixed reviews but on this showing it deserves to be... More

nice restaurant with most important thing, good food. if you sitting on the right side of the table you can see the Kings Graves. Altough the food is very good, I will recommend to drink your coffee elsewhere. Its just machinecoffee, and that just won't satisfy after your dinner.

We had lunch here today, stumbled across the restaurant by accident, had read no reviews so no idea what to expect. The standard of everything was excellent, lovely plants, trees etc we sat right on the river, great view, extremely taste food, incl cold and hot meze, service good but it wasn't busy, would recommend and would go back.

We have chosen La Vie as it has the perfect view of Lycian Rock Tombs and it offers sea food. It really has the perfect view and the sea food is OK but the salad we ordered seem to have waited for a day. The service was poor. We have waited for at least 20 minutes to order and probably... More
