Recommended, we wandered in to the Altintava. We were offered a sample of today's starters (which were all lovely!) then we were told what Moma had prepared today for main course. We love this place! We asked to eat in the garden, which was obliged, the seating area at the back is lovely, intimate and a change from the main... More

Pancakes here are amazing! Food all freshly cooked and homemade, has a lovely friendly family run feel to it. In the space of 2 weeks we ate here 5 times and each time the quality was exceptional. Highly recommend

In 3 days in Dalyan, we visited this beautiful family restaurant 4 times. The savoury pancakes served for lunch (I had mushroom and cheese) is up there with one of the most satisfying meals I've ever had. The meze appetisers for dinner are fresh, traditional Turkish creations that will inspire you to take seconds; even thirds. Asides from the all-mouthwatering... More

Small family run place with amazing food. A choice of about 4 dishes cooked fresh each day, stop and ask what's on offer and try a sample if unsure. This is one place you will get a stew that has been cooking slowly all day - fantastic. Really friendly, great good and excellent value. One of my top places to... More

Another visit to Dalyan - another 4 trips to feast at Altin Tava. Nothing changes here - except we all grow older!! The food and the family remain as genuine as ever. This time we had liver, meatballs stuffed with cheese, chicken curry, aubergine meal, courgette meal, courgette fritters, peas, yoghurt - over our 4 visits. Each meal came to... More

Last year we visited the Altin Tava for lunch time snacks, this time in addition to visiting in the daytime, we tried the evening meal. It was so good we booked again for our final night. All the food is prepared fresh and follows traditional Turkish tradition. The produce is local, much grown on the family farm. We had a... More

Too easy to miss as it is on the way out of town from the harbour towards Calbis. Lovely people, good food and a lovely unique eating area out the back. Do not be fooled by first impressions. It is almost opposite Patio and next to the travel agency

Absolutely delicious. The meat balls were to die for as was the lamb dishes and the chicken curry. The lady makes 3 dishes a day and the pancakes were fantastic. Its quite hard to find - its opposite the waking life otel and next to Aya Nicola shop which sells day trips and hires cars
