You have to try the Gecit Restaurant which is family run and serves the most delicious food. We tried a number of differant restaurants during our last visit to Dalyan and rated the Gecit as one of our favourties. The staff are so friendly and the food that they serve is wonderful. We will be back next time we visit Dalyan. Forgot to mention that the prices are very reasonable compared to the other places that we tried.

Best meal in Dalyan this year!

The food and service from Gecit was the best we had on our 2 week stay in Dalyan. The waitors are friendly and attentive without it being too much. We had the king prawns and they were fabulous - highly recommended! Thank you for a lovely meal.

Visited the Gecit in June. The food was excellent just enough and full of flavour. The staff are attentive without being too overbearing they are polite and explain how dishes are cooked. Grandma lamb casserole being one of their favorites. Relaxing atmosphere and great value. Will try the prawns next year.

This restaurant was recommended to my Husband and myself by a fellow visitor who has been visiting Dalyan for over 20 years. He so enthused about the Lamb Shank that we didn't bother to look at the Menu. He was spot on! It was absolutely delicious, cooked very slowly over a number of hours it was melt in the mouth.... Really lovely food, we had a mixed meze with balloon bread to start, a meatball casserole and mixed seafood casserole with a bottle of villa doluca red. 130 TL. Excellent value. Lovely staff, food not rushed. Will be back!

Having been a regular at the Gecit for the past 13 years I can say without a doubt that we haven't found another place that consistently serves such quality food on a regular basis, this year (2014) however the chef has excelled his self with the hottest curries ive ever had definitely the place to go,

Once again, back to one of our favourites in Dalyan. Eray, the boss, is always friendly and courteous, as is his wife and two nephews (Gokhan & Cihan). The food is always well up to standard and the visit is always enjoyable.

We ordered liver & onions, most of mine was ok but my husbands' was very tough and so fatty he left half of it. We didn't send it back as most of mine was ok and we were just going to put it down to wrong choice of restaurant. The waiter noticed the fatty unchewable remains on the plates and... More
