Great location and restaurant

We literally fell on this restaurant as we walked across the river ..the ambiance and service was fantastic . We both had the suckling pig which was to die for . We were surprised more people weren't there. The wine list was great and the waiter was delightful

A very pretty restaurant on the water with super sweet service and great food. Not expensive but classy. Go there you won't be disappointed but remember the Spanish eat lunch at 2/3pm and dinner at 9/10pm so if you go early it will be empty and dead

This place gets a start from Frommers and does OK here in Tripadvisor so we gave it a go. Service is quite good and portions are large (too large, in my opinion) but the value is not so good. Appetizers at around 15 Euros and up, mains start at around 20 Euros. Dinner for 3 with one glass of wine... More

A very very good restaurant. Not the cheapest one I ever visited, but a restaurant with high quality food and an impeccable service.

On a warm day, this restaurant is delightful. The water is very noisy if the river is full but such a lovely place to sit out in the sunshine. The Ronda, single track railway is very convenient to make your day complete if you wish to enjoy your glasses of wine! I had two starters and it was very adequate... More

Lovely spot in Avila. Miguel the front of house was exemplary. Food excellent and the attention to detail towards making it a special Spanish experience was memorable. Would recommend to anyone to enjoy the same experience we had.

As a tourist you have to eat (out) every day! Our family was there alone on Tuesday evening. They said the locals come on Fridays and Saturdays. The building is an old watermill restored as a restaurant. The sound of gushing water can be heard inside. Downstairs is a nice bar, upstairs the dining room. Since we had had lunch... More

Great place in Avila. Old "molino" overlooking city walls. Typical local food with a touch. Not to be missed.
