After a tour of Avila we were sent to this fine dining establishment by a local foodie. To say the least - he did NOT disappoint! We were immediately greeted by a helpful & knowledgeable staff that provided us with some wonderful wine recommendations. The view from our table was super cool as you are right across from the walls... More

My boyfriend and I were in Ávila this past weekend and boy, what a pleasant surprise we had when we chose El Almacén for our last meal in this charming city. The food was outstanding, the service likewise impeccable (very polite without being over the top, friendly, courteous), the wine list looked like a bible (no joke, the best wine... More

This is definitely one of the finest restaurants in which I have ever had the pleasure of dining. It is located outside of the city walls on a hill near the Four Posts overlook. The view of Avila and is stunning. The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation wonderful. Our waiter was friendly, efficient and helpful. During our meal... More

I selected this restaurant through Trip Advisor, it was number 3 in the area at the time of this review. We selected it based on its more modern take on traditional food. It definitely met and exceeded our expectations. The food was delightful, the wine list very extensive. Coming from Australia, I was surprised to learn this restaurant is very... More

This is a very nice restaurant but it appears we were taken advantage of as tourists. I had the traditional chuleton de Avila which was not cut from the best part. Local's cuts were better with less tough meat. In addition, our dessert, Volano de Chocolate was over cooked and burnt on the bottom. When I mentioned this both to... More

We went this past weekend 2 families with 6 kids. We found excellent service, (not very common when travelling with kids). Price high but very good food. The restaurant is right out of the city center walls at the other side of the river. It has an awsome mirador overlooking the walls of this beatufil city. if you go walking... More

An old grain warehouse built in 1880 now houses which could be considered one of the best restaurants we know in Castilla Leon. A simple, modern decor creates a warm and harmonious fits perfectly with the magnificent view of the magnificent walls of Avila, and especially at night when illuminated. Its menu is based on creative cuisine from La Mancha... More

Food is great. A mix of tradition and modernity. The ambiance is great. Lots of beautiful people. The service is great. The boss is always there enchanting the guests. The wine list is great. One of the best in the region. Desserts are great. A nice way to close the meal. Prices are great. Not cheap, but correct. In summer... More

Best table in Ávila. I love to eat in this family restaurant. Wife controls the kitchen. Husband controls the guest confort and wine cellar. Traditional food witha touch of modernity, good wines. Try the desserts.
