We took a chance on this wild car on our drive from Homer to Anchorage. It was a great surprise. Everything was really good. If I am ever driving this stretch of road again I would definitely plan it so that I have lunch or dinner there. more

Suzie's cafe is a great place for lunch or dinner. My family and I lived in Sterling for many years and recently moved out of state, and one of the comments made by my family is that they really miss Suzies Cafe and wish they could jump on a plane to eat there. We had the best meals here on the way to Homer and on the return to Anchorage! Suzie makes the best clam chowder (cream base with bacon, potatoes and herbs with the clams).
