The most disappointing thing about Suzies is they close for the winter. Other than that the place is perfect. The food is awesome and the staff are stellar. The Burgers, steaks and seafood are top of the line. Favorite coffee and breakfast stop in the summer time.

Visiting the Kenai, you are probably there to enjoy the scenery and fishing. Suzie's cafe is a bright spot among many miles of Alaskan roadway. Since this part of Alaska is focused on the tourist trade, Suzie's is a favorite of locals and visitors. Their menu is basic...and hits on mostly "comfort" food....and is reasonable priced. We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way from Seward to Homer. The restaurant (diner) is very clean and the service is great. Friendly people. We had some delicious burgers with fries here. Prices are very reasonable.

On a road trip down the Kenai peninsula to Soldonta and the Kenai River, we stopped here on the recommendation of long time Alaskan. The food was authentic, well prepared and bountiful. Don't miss it if you're in the area. You'll find it at mile 85 on the Sterling Highway (Sterling Hwy and Barbara St) about 3 miles North of... More

What a great find, the food we had was excellant. We sat at the counter and got to see the food coming out of the kitchen. I can't wait to go back and try everything else. The place is CLEAN. The workers all work well together and help each others table, making service quick and very good. Large portions- you... More

This place isn't big, but it's great!! Food was excellent. They have the BEST blueberry pie ever!! We went back and enjoyed another great meal but unfortunately they were out of the blueberry pie. Don't miss out on this place!!

They have awesome food and the portions are huge. Waitresses were very friendly and quick to get our orders out. They have homemade pie that reminds me of my grandma's. So good! My only complaint is that there are not a lot of tables, so we ended up eating at the bar, which was fine. I would definitely recommend to... More

Good meal in Sterling, the staff were friendly and helpful. We had fish and chips, hamburgers and salads. All were fresh and the beer was cold.

Based on trip advisory reviews (and limited choices) we ate lunch at Suzie's. It was outstanding! We had hamburgers and fresh blueberry pie right out of the oven.

Friends and I all enjoyed our lunches at this convenient stop. The food was excellent and the portions were enormous. The rhubarb pie for dessert tasted homemade with a flaky crust. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We also enjoyed the atmosphere and appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities. In short, a great place to stop for lunch.
