cheap food, nice pizza! good service but nothing special. The atmosphere was really good for young people.

Staff seemed more interested in talking amongst themselves and to visiting locals than providing any kind of service to customers. We won't go back.

This was not my first time dining at Perla, but I feel that over the years quality has declined somewhat. I found the food quite tasteless: the vegetable soup was completely bland, the fajita was a beige plate of iceberg lettuce, tortilla and very little unseasoned meat, the pizza had an ok crust but was overwhelmed by a huge amount... The location is very convenient and there is both inside and outside seating. The food was standard and filling with the typical menu of meats with potatoes, soups, and pizzas. It's nothing to write home about but it's a solid choice for anyone looking for a filling meal. They don't take credit card though, although they will trust you to... More

There are mostly pork dishes, but you can find some other stuff too. Chicken with cheess is dicious, traditional pork stew too. Mutton was a bit dry. And when you order the dessert, remember that cheese and plum cake (which is delicious by the way) is the size of pizza, so do not order one each!

Sure, it's a matter of every persons preferences, but i consider the pizza at Perla to be on of the best, and no offence but a lot better than any pizza i've had all over in italy. The pizza is excellent, but i don't know about other types of food. The waiters are OK, they don't really try that hard... More

We had decent pizza (no comparison to Italy, but then again, who can compare?), very good Romanian sausages and a golasch-like dish (tochitura?). Remarkably good house red wine. Very convenient location on the main street, right where you walk up the hill to the town square.

We realized on our travels through Romania that you should never trust the photos of the food shown on menus. They are always deceiving, and nothing is ever close to accurate. Don't do it, even if you're starving. This restaurant's menu is full of large photos of beautifully-presented food. My wife ordered the roasted pork ribs and I got the... More

My husband and I ate here twice. I cannot eat gluten and they were able to get me dishes that were safe to eat. (fyi cross contamination is NOT an issue for me). It was a pleasant place to eat in a very pretty building. I have a hard time with smoke. The smokiness was tolerable.
