This restaurant is in the house of Dracul who was Vlad the Impalers dad and it has been turned into a retaurant bistro. Our experience of this restaurant was very good. But we did have a local with us to help us choose from the extensive menu of Romanian dishes, it was minus 15 outside and the place was pretty... More

The myth: Vlad the Impaler lived here. The reality: A restaurant-bar where the food is good (not excellent) and the service lacks the warm touch of hospitality. We did not felt cared for, even if it was very small restaurant (around 5tables)!

These guys must be doing too well to need our business. We came in, sat down, told the waiter we were hungry and wanted to order, he rolled his eyes and said he'd be right back and that was the last word spoken to us. He then succeeded to ignore us while tending to all the tables around us until... More

In the center of the old town is this restaurant who is also the place of birth of Vlad Chepes well-known and as DRACULA.The food was very good and also very cheap .Don't forget to go upstairs (5 ron) to visit the room of DRACULA.

This restaurant is a perfect example of overrated food and service, taking advantage of the Dracula legend. The food is very expensive and not worth it at all. The ambiance is not warm, when you leave the place your clothes smell like food. It's just not worth it. You can go to less expensive restaurants which actually serve good food.

A place to mark during your visit, but nothing special. In fact is the house of Vlad Dracul - the father of Vlad Tepes.

We thought that since it was a very touristy place, the food wouldn't be that good as it happens in other places in Europe. Mistake! The food is delicious and very well presented, the menu is extremely extensive but everything comes really fast and we'll cooked. I recommend the tomato soup and for dessert the dracula icecream cup. ...amazing!

Since I was a child, I've always heard about Transylvannia as Dracula's home. The idea of visiting Romania during season of Halloween was more attractive when I realized that I could possibly visit the "lair" of this famous vampire. Since this was the prime objective of our trip, I immediately arranged dinner in the so called birth home of Vlad... More

I was thinking when I came here it was going to be a let down. But the food was okay for what it is. The dining room is completely over the top but fun at the same time!
