I have no idea what the food actually tasted like as we left before ordering. It was very expensive, staff were not friendly. Maybe as it's Dracula's house however for 5 lei you can experience the cheesiness of seeing a grown man dressed as Dracula in a coffin with plastic spider webs. We felt so sorry for him, it was... The food was traditional Romanian and was enjoyable - sarmale (cabbage leaves stuffed with mince) was good and the peasant potatoes were great. Goulash and other dishes were deemed good by my companions. The Dracula Crepes (smothered in blood-red berry jam) were a treat and the Papanasi (traditional doughnuts with sour cream and jam) were good too. Of course, the... More

Went there and we were first rushed with the order, without being told that they would want to close soon, food was average as well, you can find so much better food in Romania for the same price or less. Then we were rushed to pay and rushed to get out, with them saying that the alarm would start automatically... More

Was really excited to come here and had mapped it out on my tour with my partner. On arrival got ignored by all start so we decided to seat ourselves. Waited and waited to be served, waved at the waiter a couple of times but didn't get served (the restaurant wasn't busy either) decided after a long wait that they... More

It can be said that there would be born and would be childish famous son of Vlad Dracul, Vlad Tepes-Dracula.Few know, however, that his father had owned the name of Dracula. I thought at first that the whole Dracula theme was a bit much, but then I realized that thats what made going there such a cool experience. We stopped and had lunch. The food was excellent, the beer even better. The service was great. After lunch we were able to explore the surroundings. We discovered that they sold Dracula coffee,... More

Despite the easy name and slightly over the top Dracula references, this cheesy and garish restaurant is surprisingly nice! The restaurant inside is a bit more tasteful, and the food was traditional, interesting and tasty.

I did not eat here this trip, just had a beer, and service was less than warm and fuzzy. Years ago they had really good Romanian food but this time the menu not so appealling. The atmosphere remains, though, along with the mural of Vlad's dad.

Suprisingly nice location, with a strange medieval feel. Not the smalest prices in town but still good. We were taking lunch in the backyard so was a good experience

We visited Sighisoara in May this year and on our final night of Transylvanian travels we decided to eat at this restaurant after checking out the lovely medieval decor, the beautiful terrace outside, and spotting the appetizing food on people's tables. Just as a note, I am born and raised in Romania, currently living in Miami, traveled the world and... More
