Listen, if you're in Sigasohra, you should at least stop in, as this was the place Vlad was supposedly born. But to be honest, I wouldn't bother eating here. The food wasn't bad (at all) but it was not worth nearly 1/2 the prices we paid. If I had it to do again, I'd stop in, take a pic and... More

The restaurant was ok but going up stairs to see Dracula was good, really enjoyed it. It was what I came here to see anyway

I strongly recommend against eating in this terrible restaurant. By all means go and look at Vlad's room, but just don't eat here! The food was similar in price to many local establishments but the quality is very poor. Meat was dry and tasted off, vegetables were also looking very past it. We were rushed in, and rushed out and... More

I was prepared to be disappointed but I really wanted to go none the less. We booked for dinner and sat outside in the courtyard. 3 of us shared plates of grilled vegetables, with beer and sparkling mineral water and the cost of AUD9 each. We were delighted with our choice however a companion choose weinerschitzel and said it was... More

I have no idea what the food actually tasted like as we left before ordering. It was very expensive, staff were not friendly. Maybe as it's Dracula's house however for 5 lei you can experience the cheesiness of seeing a grown man dressed as Dracula in a coffin with plastic spider webs. We felt so sorry for him, it was... The food was traditional Romanian and was enjoyable - sarmale (cabbage leaves stuffed with mince) was good and the peasant potatoes were great. Goulash and other dishes were deemed good by my companions. The Dracula Crepes (smothered in blood-red berry jam) were a treat and the Papanasi (traditional doughnuts with sour cream and jam) were good too. Of course, the... More

Went there and we were first rushed with the order, without being told that they would want to close soon, food was average as well, you can find so much better food in Romania for the same price or less. Then we were rushed to pay and rushed to get out, with them saying that the alarm would start automatically... More

Was really excited to come here and had mapped it out on my tour with my partner. On arrival got ignored by all start so we decided to seat ourselves. Waited and waited to be served, waved at the waiter a couple of times but didn't get served (the restaurant wasn't busy either) decided after a long wait that they... More

It can be said that there would be born and would be childish famous son of Vlad Dracul, Vlad Tepes-Dracula.Few know, however, that his father had owned the name of Dracula.
