We had a dinner last night and we could not believe what we saw there. My husband ordered a medium size of pizza, but it took for a while because the waiter wanted to order only large one, he had to repeat quite some time. I ordered a spring roll and other vietnamese dishes. It was nothing more than average... More

Just eaten here, was drawn in by the 'free hot wine and garlic bread' which ended up being half a sherry glass of average wine and one tiny piece of bread with some garlic on it that they were very reluctant to give! The main courses we got were almost laughably small for the price we were paying, especially relative... More

We've just got back from Red Camellia / La Roma as it's also called. The food is distinctly average - it's not horrible but it is bland, over priced and relatively small portions. The free offers are misleading too - the hot wine tastes of wine mixed with water and you only get half a glass; the free garlic bread... More

First restaurant I've ever eaten 5 courses in less than 30 minutes. We were drawn in, like many, with the free beer and garlic bread sign. As soon as we sat down the waitress explained that the freebies came with the main courses. At that point we should've left! We stayed and ordered 2 set menus....... The portion sizes were... More

Despite the ghastly picture on Trip Advisor for this restaurant, the Red Camelia is incredibly yummy. I ordered gnocchi and my friends ordered a range of Italian, Vietnamese and Western food. Everything was perfectly cooked, tasted lovely and if I'd known about it earlier, I'd have gone there sooner! The night I went, my wait staff spoke excellent English, they... More

Food was decent but the service staff are not as polite as in other restaurants. The waitress stressed three times " no free wine" when I ordered the set menu ( which had apple wine n green tea) to which I replied I already have 2 drinks.. Walk along the street n enter any other restaurant for a more pleasant... More

We stopped in here, now called La Romana Pizza, and had a good meal and chat with the owner. We were given one free mulled wine and garlic bread as promised by the sandwich board outside. We each ordered a pizza, though not as good as home, it was great comfort food when desiring to take a break from local... More

The Red Camelia is a restaurant with two cuisines. Firsts are they know for there authentic local Vietnamese cuisine and second for “La Roma Pizza, Italian restaurant”. The food is tourist priced and has a high quality in his taste. But before ordering make sure you have enough time to finish your plate, as the license restricting them to serve... More
