My partner and I stopped into Highland Bakery in Sapa many times during our stay! The hot chocolate, chocolate croissants, spring rolls, fried rice etc etc all delicious! Yes the service can be a little slow, but from what we saw it was a one-man show! The owner was serving, cooking, mixing hot chocolates, cleaning, all on his own!! So... More

They took forever just to put the cake on a plate. The advertisement showed a sauce with the cake, which they forget to put on our plate. When I asked for it they said they had no more...why wouldn't they say this as I ordered? My friend ordered vanilla ice cream with her cake. After they served it to her... More

take only the apple bread or the chocolate bread - the pies, crepe or anything else will disappoint you.

Possibly the worst cake that i have ever eaten in my life! Definitely wouldnt recommend. And the rat of a dog running around and sitting on the chairs didnt make it too pleasant either!!

While the spring rolls were average, though very oily and tge fried rice OK, this restaurant had a neglected look to it. There was much dust under the tables, never a good sign. The cost including the above plus an Hanoi beer and a Coca Cola can was VND125000.

Came here to takeaway three cakes: The L'Opera, Tiramisu and a cheesecake. Loved the L'Opera Cake. The Tiramisu wasn't too bad either. Cheesecake was funky. Very warm, cosy ambiance inside. Price is ok.

Honestly, the tiramisu was not tasty ,the tea and coffee were not so special. However, I just want to spend a hour to have a rest to see the view of Sapa. The service was good. Atmosphere of this cafe was so good.

After reading some reviews on here my boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselves on our last night to some desserts. I had read a review about the tiramisu and had to try it. I wish I hadn't! I should have known it wouldn't be good after all we are in Asia, but this was especially horrible. The whole thing... More

The vietnamese coffee is overpriced at 30vnd (no milk) despite it being advertised at 20vnd outside. Coffee was made with tepid water, dirty glasses, in filters that never filtered. We told the waiter the coffee was cold who shook his head and said no. Bakery next door is better. Hill station serves much nicer coffee for 35vnd. Mangey dogs lying... More
