Tasty food, good choice, fair value, comfortable surroundings. Great place for breakfast/lunch. I've read reviews of poor service-remember this place has been set up to support disadvantaged youths for training into the hotel/restaurant trade. Their English is limited and they're learning!

We enjoyed lunch here, both choosing hot sandwiches. They were made freshly, the bread was good and the fillings tasty. Hubby had a slice of Opera cake, with was nice but not the best we've had (that was in the Blue Pumpkin in Siem Reap by the way). I felt something was missing. The service was a little perfunctory and... More

i heard a lot of recommendations about this place and also lonely planet recommend to visit this cafe. also, we missed the western desserts so much in vietnam so it seemed obvious to go there. when we arrived (bit offside of the main road), we was a bit shocked - the place was empty, the furniture look old (and not... Absolutely delicious food. I had the Vietnamese Pork with Caramel Sauce and it was fantastic, the pastries were delicious and the baguettes and their fillings very, very good. The service was less so - once our initial order had been delivered and we had eaten we waited and waited for our table to be cleared but it never was, and... More

We went to this place because it was recommended from lonely planet. The breakfast (we've ordered, one of the breakfast offers, which includes several things) is really expensive, relative to Vietnam prices, and finally we get only half of the things we have ordered. The eggs were cold and at your plate we had a lot of white hard bread!... More

I understand that the cafe is under new management and I have been very disappointed by the new systems. I attempted to order a birthday cake to be baked over night ready for collection the following day. My point of contact was the new manager, who was using his laptop during the discussion. He seemed distracted and nothing was written... More

I spoke with the young chef ( which is a really talented 23 years old girl). They make all their pastries by themselves. Go there , it's nice.

This cafe was recommended in Lonely Planet, however, we would not recommend that you bother wandering here. The service was terrible, they actually ignored us, the coffee and food was meh, the washroom was disgusting, extremely touristy. If you're looking for baguettes or delicious pastries, sorry, they don't have them:(

Arrived here for Breakfast after 2 days of non stop travel from Canada. It was a little bit of luxury to have a croissant and latte for breakfast. Spent 2 days in Sapa and had breakfast and lunch here both days. Fresh food prepared on demand. Support the concept of training local kids in the hospitality trade.

Great idea and good food. However staff is on the phone instead of looking after customers. Need a real boss who really cares about its customers. Was much better in our first visit years ago... What a pity!
