Great pastries and Vietnamese coffee with sweet cream

This student-operated cafe is down-to-earth and incredibly inexpensive. The cafe is run by students who are learning to cook and bake. The setting isn't anything too special but it is clean and comfortable. The pastries are delicious.

The food and drinks here are very good. Sometimes you feel like more European food. Had a lovely BLT baguette and the apple pie with crumble top was gorgeous in fact we came back again for another apple pie and coffee. My only complaint was the loo not too clean otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Still enjoyed very... More

As we couldn't find much cafe in Sapa, this is one of the better cafe around. Prices range from 45k-100k+. Lemongrass drink is still the best in Sapa's climate.

I came here after I had some dubious pho on the street, based on my guidebook. Here I ordered some Spring Rolls which were really good, they served them with some noodles and fresh vegetables. I also had a little dessert which consisted on a little bread based on coconut, which was really average for being a place that focuses... More

As a budget traveller I decided to splurge on a nice breakfast upon arriving in Sapa in the early morning, and I picked this place based on its recommendation in Lonely Planet. I was, however, very disapponted. The staff was unattentive and spoke very little English, which normally isn't an issue only they struggled to understand what I wanted to... More

We had the timing of having a lemon tart & apple tart during the two week on site cultural training with the Swedish staff who are hear to train & place Vietnamese bakers & cooks for further culinary placement in establishments across Vietnam. It is a good cause. The food was good. The service of the young waitstaff can be... More

Lonely planet was the reason we visited this little cafe! We both had beef and truly enjoyed it! Mine was fried with vegetables, my partner had a special beef, which was absolutely delicious! We also had some freshly squeezed juices and enjoyed a slice of cake each! Cute little place that is there to give a chance to local youth.

Despite some of the other reviews we decided to try this place. We were not disappointed. Though when we asked for spring rolls we were told that they finished making them which was strange to us considering it was just on lunch time. We then ordered two sandwiches which were delicious. The bread was fresh and the filling was plentiful.... More

Like some of the other reviewers, we came here on the recommendation of our guidebook. The main thing going for it is the friendliness of the staff. Our coffees were rather burnt, and both my club sandwich and my partner's baguette were quite disappointing. The French fries weren't too bad, though.

We went to this charming cafe for lunch and returned for dessert that night and the night after. The baguettes are large and tasty, the service is great (we came at closing time and they stayed open), and they have a nice cup of English breakfast teA (with milk!) for those coming from the rest of Vietnam where that seems...
