The last review says it all (BangorCol). We only ate at the Waters Edge once, but would recommend it. We originally thought the first floor terrace was the place to eat, but soon realised that the top of the sea wall was much better. You couldn't get much closer to the sea. The Malabar prawn curry, and local fish curry... More

You have two choices, either eat on top of the sea wall (single row of tables) or in the first floor open restaurant. I only say one couple use the second option while we were there but more likely to be used when there is a high tide and rough seas. The menu was fairly typical of all the local... More

Feb 5 to Feb 19, 2013 in Sea View Room with balcony First Floor. The guest house is directly at the beach, so there is no noise except the rolling waves at night. The food at both restaurants was very good and very reasonably priced, with a working WLAN as an additional feature. Everybody was relaxed and friendly, but tried... More

Wished we had eaten here when we were here five years ago but kept walking past. We have just returned and ate here a lot at lunchtime and night. The food was excellent the waiter recommended the cauliflower cheese it was to die for it was done in a light batter with cheese sprinlkled over it. The four of us ate... More

We ate here several evening on our recent holday. The staff are most friendly and we chose to eat outside on the sea wall,a great place to make new friends and have a chat, they do also have a first floor seating area inside, just in case the waves get a little lively from time to time. We did not... More

Stayed at the WSaters Edge for 3 weeks in feb 2013 and the most impressive thing for me was the staff, to say they were all brilliant is an understatement, nothing is too much trouble for them! One night we had a bad thunderstorm and the hotel suffered a lightening strike which among other things knocked out the electrics and... More

Apu and Laurence really make you feel welcome at this restaurant. The menu is good and would suit varied tastes, although the Indian items are especially good, I can well recommend the prawns and garlic with a Kashmiri naan, as well as the potatoes and garlic....apologies to those I have breathed upon the following morning! Lovely relaxed place to dine... More

We stayed at the Waters edge for 3 weeks in December 2012 and ate most of our meals here. The food is absolutely delicious and plentiful. The Kadai and Paneer dishes are outstanding. The staff are all welcoming and the service is first class. Can't wait for our return in 4 weeks time to stay here again :)
