This restaurant is a 50s theme restaurant that serves simple, good food. We were there for dinner and they started us off with their home-made bread which was irresistable. We tried to control ourselves so we can leave some room for our main dishes, and I guess we all failed! We ended up with a lot of leftovers, but that... More

We pulled into Soldotna around lunchtime, so I pulled up TripAdvisor to look for a place to eat. We settled on Ginger's because I knew my kids would like bacon cheese fries and the other food people wrote about. If it hasn't been mentioned yet, if you're not from the area, you need to know that while the address says... More

I LOVE this place! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone stopping in Soldotna for great food and excellent, friendly service! Tucked away in the back of the Peninsula Center Mall.

This place was recommended by the locally in the town and the kids wanted Taco Bell but I wanted to try the local favorites. The food was just as I remember as a kid and it brought back alot of memories. I haven't seen bacon fries in years! The kids were happy that we skipped taco bell and ate here.... More

Stopped by Gingers for a giant plate of bacon cheese fries and milkshakes with my kids while in Soldotna. Gingers is a 50's themed dinner that serves great comfort food. Seems to be a great place for lunch or dinner.

The atmosphere is nostalgic, the service is amazing and the food is fantastic. Great for date night, lunch or family dinner. The food and service just cannot be beat -if you like good food and great service do not miss a trip to Ginger's.

I have been going to Ginger's for years. I recommend it to anyone looking for good food in Soldotna. The prices sometimes seem high...then you see your plate. In the years I have been going there, I have never left hungry.

So I had to give Ginger's two tries, but now love it. Not sure what turned me off during my first visit, but my wife insisted I try it again and now I'm hooked. Can't speak to everything on the menu, but the fried clams are top notch. I usually pair them with onion rings and coleslaw. My wife has... More

We went into Ginger's on the recommendation of a local. Very cute little restaurant! The staff was very attentive and friendly, everything we ordered was beyond what we expected, and the prices were reasonable to boot! We will definetly be going back before our trip is over!
