very popular place with great beer and pizza

They are always very busy, so plan on a wait time. It took some time for us to get a table and finally place our order, also the food took a while, but the pizza was worth the wait, very tasty with a nice thin dough. The beer tasted also really good. Overall we had a good time and a... read more

As the tital states, beer was just so so as was the service, but the pizza sat in my stomach like a rock for days. Ruined my desire for one of the basic food groups (pizza) for weeks.

Had a wonderful lunch at the brewery on 8-14. Started with their beer flight and then chose a few more from there. Their pizza, sandwiches and salads we're all tasty. Our whole party enjoyed lunch while we sat on the patio enjoying the scenery. Service was above standard. Enjoyed the pizza so much we ordered out the next day.

Quite an experience! The wood fired pizza oven takes center stage in the room-hand tossed dough and fresh toppings. Did not care for their beers at all. They had one brewed with raspberries that was a bit off-putting, and their Porter was a lttle too bitter for my taste. The pizza was excellent-great crust and not overbearing on the cheese.

Good service. However, in our opinion beer not to our taste. Stopped there for lunch, based on TA reviews, while traveling to Homer. Perhaps our expectations were too high. We preferred beers at other Alaskan breweries during our trip. Brewery and food not bad, just not to our taste.

Thought that I would give this place a try. The beer was good and the wait staff was great! I was disappointed with the menu. I guess I expected a wider range of food selections, but pizza seems to be St. Elias's thing. Don't get me wring, the pizza was very good I just expected a "bar food" menu. Would... More

The draft beer selection was not extensive, but we were able to get a small sample of a few beers before we ordered. The beer we selected was very good. There was a very small selection of anything besides pizza, but the pizza was very good.

We stopped at St Elias for lunch on our way from Anchorage down the Kenai Peninsula. It is an is an excellent choice for a break in the drive and a tasty meal. Tho their pizza was tempting, our group went for sandwiches with a side order of the Artichoke Dip appetizer. Steak and Cheese sandwiches and BLTs (St Elias... More

We stopped by on our way back from a drive through the Kenai peninsula. We weren't too hungry, so the server suggested two pizzas for the three of us, and that worked out well. The salads they serve are huge - the menu mentions splitting them. They were out of most beers. We tried the porter and some weird local... More

Great beer, fun atmosphere, good service, and good pizza. Disclaimer: the crust isn't quite as thin as it is in Naples, but it good nonetheless. My husband and I ate here for the second time while visiting family in Soldotna, and we were just as happy with our second meal as we were with our first. The place is always... More
