We were not sure about getting seated without a reservation. The hostess sat us right away. The restaurant has interesting décor and very high ceilings. It was kind of noisy, but not too loud where we could not hear each other at the table. The waitress was not especially attentive. We had to wait a couple times on water refills.... More

So far I have been to this place twice in to days. Why you may ask?? I wasn't the driver, nor do I share the same palate as my companions with a minority vote. The service was at best under the circumstances, "As good as it gets." Our first visit was during the busiest time of the week, a saturday... More

You betcha. Wood oven fired pizza at the St. Elias Brewing Company in Soldotna, Alaska is first rate. The restaurant offers micro brewed beers and ales. The service was excellent and the St. Elias Brewing Company seems to always be busy. We would suggest arriving by 4:00pm to get a table for dinner. This is a first rate eating establishment... More

Recommended by the receptionist when we checked into our hotel. We had a delicious dinner. It was a bit late, so I chose something light and was very pleased with my choice of Asian chicken salad. The flavours were just right - nothing overwhelmed - and the portion size was perfect. My husband had his favourite, Hawaiian pizza, which was... More

Probably best pizza in the area. I especially like the "Peter Rabbit" veggie pizza. Salads are also good & HUGE. Breadsticks are also very tasty. Bacon & cheese sprinkled over them w/ a variety of choices for dipping sauces

Saw this on Trip Advisor and had to try given it was close to our hotel and brewed their own beer. Had the XPA and IPA but preferred the X. Suitable hops on it as the IPA was a little sweet. Ordered the Greco sandwich and it was delicious. The bread appeared to be a small pizza crust folded like... More

Definitely a different decor and setting, but the pizza was as good as the well known spot in Anchorage. We even tried some of their micro brews and were pleased with the choices we expected to like at the recommendation of the waitress. The service was good. Expect some crowding this time of year. There are a lot of choices... More

Went to St. Elias twice during our recent stay in Soldotna. We had two different pizzas and salads along with a variety of beers. Although the place was very crowded both times we visited, we were seated and served quickly. The atmosphere is loud, but fun. We would go back for a nice casual dinner.

Don't quite understand the great reviews. We stopped here for lunch while driving in the area. I had their root beer, which wasn't bad. Husband had one of the beers, and he disliked it so much he couldn't even finish it. We had a couple of the baked sandwiches, which were okay, but we've definitely had better elsewhere in Alaska.
