Oh yeah, excellent food, nice people, near marine highway dock, bacon, sausage, ham, egg, cheese, and great coffee. Glad to be back in America

I stopped in here for the first time for breakfast. The food was great! And served really fast! I ordered the 'hobo' which is their egg scramble, it was really delicious. Highly recommend

Dave and Lori were incredibly friendly and fun to meet. My wife and I and were referred to the Cafe. Hot off the cruise ship, my wife had bought a giant king crab leg, and we were told that Dave's Red Anchor Cafe would cook the crab for us and let us eat the meal there. Dave cooked up the... More

Had breakfast with a large group. Dave's handled the influx with a welcoming steadiness. Plenty of Alaskan memorabilia to browse. Food is good and affordable (for Alaska). Enjoyed visiting with the staff after breakfast.

This deceptive exterior decor on the street side was thwarted when entered from the back of an expansive home setting, walking through a screened in poach and deck to the living dining area of what is a house setting to enjoy an excellent home cooked meal reminiscent of my father's deer hunting camp in western PA when I have many... This is the kind of Alaskan road house I like to see. It was rough around the edges, bit quirky and clean enough. Burger was tasty. Service was fast too.

We spotted Dave's Red Ancho Cafe while we were driving by in search of breakfast. It was obvious this was a local place, which was just what we wanted. I had the cornbeef hash and eggs, which was delicious. Hubby had eggs and pancakes, and was very pleased as well. Loved the atmosphere, it was almost like dining in an... More

When everyone on our cruise ship headed right at the pier we turned left and walked through the less touristy part of town and stumbled on Dave's. the counter and kitchen were being held down by the owners friends and family (they said there was an illness in the family). The service was slow but what it lacked in efficiency... More

This is a nice locally run diner. The decor is great with lot of history about Ketchikan. The food is cooked to order which is great. If you are in a hurry let them know. Nice people and lot of locals go there. Breakfast and Lunch only.
